Review: Life saver! - I bought this book for my daughter at Christmas who has a few dings on her credit. I also had an outstanding issue that needed attention, so I looked forward to reading it as well. This book is a DIY manual to beat all. The information is rock solid. The book is an easy read, laid out in a logical pattern, and Carolyn's tone is certainly straight to the point with a "you-can-do-this!" attitude. By now, we have received our credit reports and know exactly where the issues are. I've embarked on solving mine, and my daughter has started her own process -- might I add with direction and confidence after reading this book! It's nice to have this information all together in one spot. You avoid wandering the Internet aimlessly and finding bits and pieces that aren't cohesive. This book is the whole puzzle. Here's a tip: I use these large plastic zipper pouches for a variety of documents. I gave my daughter several: each grandchild has their own with school info and one for medical cards and documents. These have been a game changer for me in organizing documents you simply need to keep and find quickly. How convenient that one of them will hold all the credit reports, notes on progress, and other documents pertaining to cleaning up our credit. Carolyn's book easily fits inside so that everything is in one spot! https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B07RTYTR7T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 As an added bonus, Carolyn gives out her email if you want to ask questions or get any updated forms. I have to admit, I contacted her with several questions and her response time was amazingly quickl Also, she has a very kind and warm way about her. Because of her help, I've made progress and felt a boost of confidence! When you look at the price of the book, which is reasonable, don't consider it an "expense." Consider it an investment. If you have even one credit issue, the book pays for itself countless times over.

I wish I had this book much earlier in life. It has been a blessing.
The Credit Game is not as simple as we may think. This Book is helping me to stay positive and take control. Carolyn Warren delivers with the specific strategies and tools to level the playing field. I finished the book recently, and I feel confident that I would be able to improve my credit score and protect it from now on. There is a lot of valuable information in this book. It would make a great gift for a 16-18 year old young adult.

An excellent resource that explains and simplifies credit repair
I am helping a friend to understand her credit reports and begin to address and improve her credit score. I'm very comfortable managing my own financial affairs, but it causes great anxiety for her. So I'm tying to help her. Because I personally have very strong credit, I have no real experience in correcting credit reporting errors or communicating with collection agencies, negotiating and resolving negative items, or ultimately getting negative items removed from a credit report. I knew there were ways to do it, but nothing specifically. So I needed a resource to help me understand the process and guide us through the process and pitfalls of repairing her credit. So I went out to Amazon and found Carolyn Warren's "Repair your credit like the pros". The book explains the inside process and mechanics of how credit reports are developed, managed and used by the three credit reporting agencies and creditors themselves. The book was exactly what we were looking for. Straight forward, practical strategies and advice and even tools (model communications / letters) we can use to navigate the process. I'm confident we can use the process and advice to make significant improvement in my friend's reports and credit rating. When I purchased the book, it was only available electronically. No paper version is available. This is the kind of practical book I want to share with my friend, look at, mark up, revisit, tab and bookmark. So I asked about a paper version. I learned that there are plans to publish a paper version soon. A bit frustrated, and wanting some similar resource to share with my friend, I went out and found another book on the topic by another author and ordered a paper version. BIG Mistake. The other book, while similar in some ways was poor in comparison. This is the book, along with the model letters the author provides on line, is the resource we need and will use as we move to implement our approach and plan to improve my friend's credit reports and score. I recommend the book highly.

Helped me more than the credit repair company
This book has been a lifesaver. I've had it a month and still havent put it down. It's well written and so easy to read. I have been working on my credit for over a year now. I even resorted to hiring a credit repair company to help. I'm sure my story is just like others. Several years back I went through hard times and messed up my credit. Now I'm stuck trying to repair it. The credit repair company I used was able to get some small things deleted (late payments), but for what I paid, I honestly figured I would see better results. My score went from about 580 to around 640. Not bad, but I still wasnt happy since I still had 5 or 6 negative things on my credit. Then I buy this book. I actually wanted to wait and see if I had results from the book before writing a review. Since getting the book, I have just had 1 derogatory account removed and 2 collections deleted, and I've only had the book 3 or 4 weeks. This book really gives you the inside scoop on how to take matters into your own hands. The credit repair company told me at the end to send in goodwill letters, which I did. Horrible move! This book explains why, as with so many other tactics that just dont work. Maybe the credit repair company I used should have read this book. For anyone who wants to get actual good advice as well as results, I would say this is the only book you will ever need. Plus it came with all the letters already written. Just plug in your info and send.

Seriously a great read!!! A must buy!!
I’ve been looking at this book for a few weeks and finally decided to buy it. I read it all in the same day. I was so encouraged to keep reading about credit repair and how to tackle disputing items off a credit report using brilliant techniques or tactics but doing it in the right manner and being clever. This book definitely gets your mind going and headed in the right direction if you want to decide to do credit repair for yourself and your family. This book is the real deal. I’m so glad the author has blessed us with this book! This will be my forever essential guide as I navigate credit repair. I also like how she a little mix of God and scripture in here, I was delighted to see driven by faith and her experience to write such a wonderfully made and thought out book. Anyone pursuing the unknown of what credit repair is all about you will definitely learn so much. Even if you can’t remember it all, you can reference the chapter that pertains to your particular situation to guide you through the process. Credit repair is not for everyone, and it takes persistence. I’m using this book to encourage me through my future endeavors. Well done Carolyn!! I haven’t read a good book in a long time, but this was definitely worth the read. I’m a real reviewer who has purchased and read the book, and you won’t be disappointed. Best 14 bucks I’ve spent lately. All I can say is Thank you!!!

Best credit repair reference I’ve found!!
I just got this book a few days ago and I couldn’t put it down—mainly because I was mad that no one ever told me this stuff before and I’ve been around over 40 years and never knew I had these rights. But it’s not just about the rights under the FCRA, the beauty of this book is that Carolyn Warren tells you HOW to and WHAT you should say when you write these credit bureaus and creditors. She even goes so far as to explain why you do it that way. That’s golden! And it makes this the easiest guide to fixing my credit that I’ve seen yet. Her book also includes her email address and I even emailed her last night to tell her thanks! She responded already! She’s a real nice lady. Boy, just when you think you know everything about credit repair. I wish I had this book 10 years ago, but as she says “It’s never too late to live a life of freedom.” I’ve turned so apathetic towards credit because it all seems so overwhelming and impossible, but it’s not. Her book is going to help me get my 750 credit score back! For sure!! She even has a short section that tells you EXACTLY what you need to do to get an 800! I love everything about this book, but if I had to choose one thing I like most it would be the step-by-step way she lays out what to do....OH! OH!!.....one more thing.......the packet of template letters that address a variety of credit repair situations—because everyone has their own special situation— and I think she probably covers them all. I’m gifting this book to my adult children, family and friends—even those with decent scores because I want to make sure they have the chance to buy that home, or Car, or qualify for the credit for whatever their heart desires. Who wouldn’t want to know how to raise their score to 800? While it’s not easy per say, because it takes work on your part; and it’s not a quick fix, because these responses can take a little time to get back, but if you’re like me and have made a commitment to raising your score to Good or Excellent, then this is an excellent reference to have in your arsenal that will save you a lot of time and headache. I’m ready! Thanks Carolyn!!

Outstanding Resource!!!
Outstanding!!! Easy read loaded with good advise! I 've read MANY pieces on credit rehabilitation and repair but this one stands above the rest. The information in this book first educates you as to the process, then guides you through the processes step-by-step depending on your unique credit goal. The book spells out sensical approaches to expedite the credit repair process but she also provides the reality that some of the strategies will require patience and persistence, however, results ARE attainable. You cannot go wrong with this book! You not only get great direction you get all of the letters to use as a "template" to customize to your own unique credit situation. As an added bonus the author is also very approachable! I had a question that I submitted to Carolyn and she promptly responded with more great advice. You won't find that sort of customer service in many places... This book is worth every penny!
