It is a great deal, makes working a lot easier, less strainuous. Couldn't ask for better. Good buy for all who want to do things with ease.

There is no electric brake on this at all. So when you let off the button, the motor continues to run for a bit while it slows down. If you are trying to use this in a rigging application, you probably want to look for a winch with a brake. This is simple to set up and use. It appears to be well enough made for a budget winch. If you are trying to move heavy stuff, this should do the job. It is pretty noisy, but not crazy. I never tried the remote control...

It looks great and it works well, a little loud

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this product has been a huge disappointment. I purchased this hoist along with an Extend warranty, expecting it to be reliable. The original unit failed, and after working directly with the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also failed in less than a month. I contacted the manufacturer again, but this time they told me there was nothing more they could do and instructed me to contact Amazon instead. A product failing once can happen. A replacement failing again within a month is unacceptable. I've wasted a significant amount of time dealing with emails, warranty claims, and replacing defective equipment instead of actually using the product. If you're considering buying this hoist, keep in mind that reliability may be a serious issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

This hoist is worth every penny. I'm rebuilding my decks on a steep hill and I have to stack two 12' 6x6 post on top of another by myself. Could not possibly do it without this hoist. It even helps me move the posts from their laying position to vertical. Works flawlessly. I thought I would never use the remotes - that's all I use. When I'm at ground level I can help direct the post on a hoist that's up 25 feet in the air - with the remotes.

Best purchase since 2026. Recommend for lift anything heavyweight. It is extremely easy to set up and operate.
