Highly recommend taking the time to clean the mating surface before installing, comes with a new seal that sticks to the new light and keeps water from entering your cab. The cargo lamps are quite bright, the one thing that the oem light couldn’t do, because it was broken. During the day, unless it’s on it’s hard to tell from a distance it’s aftermarket. Very clean modern look, for not a lot of money or time to install.

Easy install and good quality, my original third brake light was oxidized and cracked. Was looking for an upgrade and came across this, plug and play for the most part for installation. Highly recommend taking the time to clean the mating surface before installing, comes with a new seal that sticks to the new light and keeps water from entering your cab. The cargo lamps are quite bright, the one thing that the oem light couldn’t do, because it was broken. During the day, unless it’s on it’s hard to tell from a distance it’s aftermarket. Very clean modern look, for not a lot of money or time to install.

I added clear silicone to the inside and a little bit around the supplied gasket before Installing. So far so good. Had it for about a month and in 2 thunderstorms. Seem to hold up good but again I added clear silicone all around the edges, middle hole where the wires come out of, and the supplied gasket before installing and they seem to be holding up great. Super bright, the red shines great and the white helps when loading at night. Camera doesn't do it justice. Installed in my 1997 GMC SIERRA 1500 extended cab.
