A: We got it nearly one year, but we just have used it a few times. So far all is well. It's sturdy and does a good job protecting you from the rain. It did well with the wind. Only thing is...when you shut it you have to give it a good push. Other than that, we love our umbrellas! Until now i can not sure how long it can be used.

After only using the umbrella once and shaking it off before sheathing it, I was surprised when the next time I used it there were rust stains on it but I couldn't see any rust on any of the ribs. I've never had this happen with any umbrella I've owned. Fortunately the rust spots are only visible from the underside but not very happy about it. It works as described, it's an umbrella.
