OMG! Why didn't I get one of these years ago. Our city has had a spike in smash & grabs from vehicles and it's terrifying when one considers all the valuables left in any given vehicle when just "running in" to a store or park or whatever. This won't stop someone with focused determination and tools, but for the average knuckle-head thief, it's more than enough. Super great product. Fits a 15" laptop (with ten key pad on keyboard), wallet, keys, rings, camera and a few other odds and ends with ease. Device is easy to use, secure, simple and looks like a "nuclear football" from an 80's flick. Fits in the trunk of a car or under a truck seat perfectly (in a car, it would not fit under the seat, too big).

I love it. It's large and will even hold my purse with my tablet in it. The code and or the key work as designed, no problems. It has various beeps to let you know things, it has a spring loaded hinge and a very beefy cable to secure it around things. It fits very nicely behind the driver's seat and lays flat. It has a handle like a briefcase so it promises to be very handy in the future. I really like this.

I bought this product to carry my gold via car across Mexico and into Central America. It fit in the spare tire area and it all arrived, but someone stole the spare keys when they broke into my car. Then, the keypad quit working. I now have a safe full of precious metal and no way to access it. I hope a locksmith can get in. I tried calling their customer service, but got an answering machine like it was a home office.

Bought this to store firearm in vehicle as I travel to matches. Some times you might want to stop off for a bite to eat, this solves the issue of safe secure storage laws recently passed. Will fit two full sized pistols in sleeves. Was easy to follow the directions on first time setup, don’t know what the other reviews were talking about. Easy code setup and backup key is handy. This is to prevent smash and grabs, this will not stop someone with a cordless grinder. Would recommend it.

Seems like a sturdy lock box. Easy to set digital numbers. Only had for three days and so far works great.

Got the product and out of the box unlocking with the code took several tries. The release knob would not work with out putting pressure on the case. Opened with the keys though. Opened the lid and tested the lock mechanism. The lock worked freely with the lid opened. Closed the lid and tried to troubleshoot the lock. It soon stopped working with the code and after several more tries stopped working with the key also. Took only about a half hour of testing before it became fully non functional. I would estimate only twenty or so lock cycles before complete failure. Lock mechanism is very poorly designed and case has a bad fit. Sent back for a refund. From unboxing to re boxing for return in less than an hour. I do not trust that another case would not fail the same in the future. Luckily I have no items in the case.

After about three months, the mechanical lock stopped working. I have to use the manual key each time to access the safe. Overall, it's built sturdy and has a nice secure link which you can mount somewhere in the car. If they key code kept working, this would be five stars.
