Crave Outdoors Hydration Backpack.Not perfect.
3.75 stars, rounded up to 4.I have mixed feelings about this pack. Some parts are quite good, other parts less so.It arrived in a large ziplock pack, which I thought was quite good as the ziplock bag can be used for other purposes, rather than just as throw away packaging. There was a 1.5L water bladder, but the pack is long enough to fit a 2-2.5L bladder. I prefer my own Grigerrig (sp?) bladder to the one included. The "back" part is a decent looking strong, colourful, quality looking ripstop type fabric, and the shock cord (the string which criscrosses the back of the pack) is useful for many things- adding extra clothing, attaching loose bits and pieces like lights, other dry bags, solar charger etc.The lesser quality part of the pack comes from the straps. Stitching is irratic, with some parts having triple stitching, while other parts have single. The two larger bottom pockets- the velcro is a narrow strip about 3mm wide, and for my pack, the velcro on the shoulder strap and the opposing strip did not line up evenly- had to pull the pocket cover 2-3mm- which is a problem given the strip in not very wide. Time will tell if this is a long term problem. This matters because I put my compact sports camera and mobile phones there, and since they open from the side, and not the top, they can naturally slide out any time. The mesh feels weak, though it helps with quicker drying of the straps. The straps on the side and sternum have an additional doodad, which means tightening the straps needs two hands, not one. This is a hassle, but it also means they do not loosen so easily, and there is a natural way for reduce the ends of the straps from flapping around. If the shoulder straps were as well made as the back part, this would be a real bargain. As it is, it has pros and cons. Most people at this price point will probably find the pros outweigh the cons.

Strap broke on first use! Update
Update. After informing them of the issue I had with their product they gave me a full refund immediately. Great customer service wish the product was the same standard.I was all strapped up ready for my run I got a block from my house and noticed the pack was loose on my body so I stopped to adjust the straps only to realize one of the straps was broken. I didn't expect the product to last me for years but I did expect for more than 1 block!

Great value and accurately represented product.
Great value for the money. Nice and light, but unable to get a tight fit for smaller people (I'm 5 feet tall/100 pounds). Several well placed pockets and well made product. Water bladder has "plastic" smell upon arrival so make time to wash/rinse before use. All in all very pleased!

I love the service and the color
I love the service and the color. It's a gift for my son. So I'm not sure whether he'll love it as I do. I hope so.

Great pack
Bought these for the women's march in January for myself and a few friends. They work great, no leaks, easy fill with the wide mouth bladder. Not the easiest to clean but I don't think it's any more difficult than any other hydration bladder. The backpack fit all of us, different sized women, with no problems, it looked great and helped us keep track of each other in the crowds. I will use this pack a lot when I go hiking in the spring.

Terrible plastic odor
Hydration pouch itself has a very strong plastic odor. Soaking and washing it with vinegar, baking soda, or soap and water does not remove this terrible toxic odor.

My husband is very happy with this backpack
My husband is very happy with this backpack. He has had it for about a week so far. It has little pockets in the shoulder straps that can be used for holding cell phone.
