In my early 80s, I'm at that age when nobody knows what to buy an old wrinklie for Christmas. So I usually end up with bottles of expensive booze. (Not complaining!) When you get a pricey single malt whisky and like it cold, diluting it with ice is, to me, sacrilege. These are excellent to achieve undiluted cold scotch. They come in a tweeker little box that take up no space in your freezer space. Sorted!

I constantly keep these in the freezer, unless in use. Like that each set of 4 comes in a good quality storage case. Means you don’t have to find a space for all 16…..just tuck each little case into any small gaps you have available.Not sure how long they take to freeze as I had mine in 2 days before I actually needed to use them. Probably kept quite cold for about 30 mins, even in these current extreme temperatures….much longer than an ice cube and they don’t dilute your drink. However, as you get 16 stones, it’s easy to rinse, refreeze and replace with others already frozen.I recommend you don’t use with thin glass or fine crystal….as they’re metal, they’re likely to chip or break your glass.Great value and I can’t say I noticed any taste. Would make a lovely unusual gift.

The cubes are cold but they don't last for long. Plus they are quite heavy for a pint glass

More decorative than truly functional. They appeared to 'thaw' or stop cooling very quickly as they lack thermal mass in mu humble opinion.You get what you pay for and you need to pay more!

These were a gift for my husband. They worked well in his birthday drink, but didn’t get used again until a family member injured themselves. They make an excellent ice pack for sports injuries because they don’t leak water when they melt. Good value for money as it has multiple uses. Also used underneath a salad bowl to keep it cool and fresh during outdoor dining.

Not really usable as a replacement for icecubes on other drinks. Works in whiskey. Low cooling power
