Die Stäbchen verbrennen relativ raucharm und haben eine Brenndauer von 25-30 Minuten. Der Duft ist sehr sanft und ist auch noch nach zwei Tagen dezent im Raum wahrnehmbar. Für mich persönlich sind die Kayuragi Sandelholzstäbchen die Referenz für den Sandelholzgeruch. Es gibt von Nippon Kodo noch andere Serien, wie z. B. CHIË, Jinkoh Juzan oder Oedo-Koh.
