I wear these under slips (and skirts, of course) with undies underneath them to keep my thighs from sticking together on a hot day. Or even a cold day. My thighs like each other too much and are very close to each other. They are a bit smothering, to be honest, with their affection of one another. These slipshorts help a LOT. UPDATE: I've had these now for a couple of years and they are still going strong. I have never had them ride up, roll down, wedgie, or do anything weird. In fact, I wish all my clothes would stay put the way these do. I read other reviews that say that rolling or riding is a factor, but I think they must have the wrong size or something. I am 5'3"ish and weigh about 140 and my thighs are pretty..well... thick. If J. Lo and the Rock had a baby, the baby would be about the size of one of my thighs when it got to be about 2 yrs old. The Medium fit me perfect and has continued to fit through weight gain and loss. Still highly recommend.

These shorts were exactly what I was looking for. I like to wear shorts under dresses and skirts to keep my legs from rubbing together, but I don't need the control top that most shorts like these are designed for. I am 5'5" and wear size 8 pants: The M size fits below my belly button and are snug without being tight. The fabric is loose and soft. The only improvement that would make these shorts perfect for me would me to make these shorts out of a material that does not stick to other fabrics. I generally have to wear a slip over the shorts under my skirts to keep them from riding up when I wear these shorts. (I still give them 5 stars because I have not yet found a material that would work for both purposes).

Edited to add: these do retain odor, sadly...whole point is sweaty summer days and the gusset must be made of polyester or something bc they do smell the way a lot of athletic wear does. (I wear underwear with them but they still get sweaty!) I bought these bc I get advertised the $40 version on insta all the time...these are perfect! can't speak to how well they compare, but here's what's great: they don't squeeze at the waist (I am really sensitive and get cramps when I wear tight waistbands), they don't ride up in the legs, they are smooth so dresses don't stick to them. All in all, 5 stars, wish I had 7 pairs

These shorts are buttery soft and don’t dig into my hips and thighs like other brands do. They’re definitely more helpful to prevent thigh chafing and not so much for tummy control. I am so happy I found these shorts. Now wearing dresses/skirts is WAY more comfortable. For reference, I’m 5’6” 145 lbs and I bought a size M.

I liked the way these fit, they're thin but they do a tiny bit of sculpting so I feel smoother while wearing dresses. They don't ride up even when I cuff the bottom of them for shorter skirts. The huge downside is that after one day of wearing the inner thighs are already pilling. I don't have a thigh gap and the reason for buying these was so when I'm wearing dresses I don't get all chaffed up and sticky in the summer when wearing dresses. I'm an average sized woman and even with the small amount my thighs touch I could feel the the fabric sticking and when I got home I found them to be pilled. I still like the shorts but I won't buy another pair.

I loved my first pair so much I ordered a second! These are not shape wear by the way, but super soft and stretchy. They don't ride up your thighs and they just smooth things out a bit . . And they aren't hot or constricting.

Where have these been all my life? NO ISSUES with rolling up my legs. I immediately bought a second pair. Took them on a trip recently, over 10,000 steps a day, and I never had to roll them down my legs. I was amazed.

I own many of these as i need to wear them under my workout shorts so there is no dragon peeking back. They're durable and comfortable. I have tried from other brands but jockey is the best. Thank's to the seller or Amazon as i got a whole pack of them and then ordered this one accidentally. When i tried returning it was sent as a gift :)
