Does this actually reflect in the dark?

It reflects light from the reflective stripes on it

I'm a female 5'1" apprx 110 lbs. I ordered a small and it's large on me so I should have ordered an extra small. I don't have a size chart.

4 pockets - two hip and two breast pockets w the left side a clear plastic with the mesh flap.

Is the zipper plastic?

The zipper is metal. Vest is washable on delicate with the zipper zipped up. Comes out of the wash looking pretty good. Air dry it.
