Disclaimer: Received this product free in exchange for a reviewThis is a pretty awesome augmented reality game to play - I have attached a video ...(1) Install a game on iPad - either scan the QR code or search for the exact term "PocketRacing Toy" on app store(2) Charge the car - a micro USB is provided in the package or you can use any of your android phone chargers(3) Once the car is charged, launch the app - there is a 2 min registration or you can login with facebook (I created my own user id)(4) Place the car on the space, switch on the car (tiny button on side) in the App (on the iPad Screen) and the game starts - you will go through a street and collect as many coins as you can(5) Keep completing from levels 1 to 9 and keeps getting tougher and tougher(6) As you get to higher levels, the game gets tougher, more fun and addictive because you want to win :)the Car makes all sorts of vibrations, sounds and lights and I was wondering as to how would it work - and discovered how it works - the iPad screen displays white light to the sensors in the car which activate the light sensors in the car - Brilliant is what I would say !!Overall an awesome game, what I did not like (minor) : The name of the game icon is in chinese which I cannot read :(

This is an insanely neat game. I've never seen anything like this and feel like this company is on to something good. This would make a great gift for somebody between the ages of 5-12, but I'm almost 30 and have been playing it all week.You get everything you need to set the game up quickly. While you read the instructions and download the app, plug the car in to charge so you can make sure it's ready to go as soon as the game is downloaded. It takes about 10-15 minutes for a full charge and the charge lasts for hours. To download the app, you can follow the links or QR code in the manual, or search the app store for it: "PocketRacing Toy" by ptahtoy. It's a little on the large side, almost 100MB, however I haven't noticed any lag or slowing of my phone from it.Once the game is installed and opened, you'll have to scan the QR code on the inside of one of the car shells to create an account for it. It took me a few minutes to figure this part out, because I had my device laying flat on the table (was ready to play it) and couldn't figure out what to do because it was just a blank screen. I picked my device up and realized it had accessed my camera in order to scan the QR code. Once you scan the car in and finish the additional prompts, you're able to start the game. All you do is place the car on your screen where it outlines it and you're ready to go.The game is simple, yet addicting. Tap the screen left or right to avoid slower and oncoming traffic, collect coins, make it to the finish line as fast as possible. Completing the level will unlock the next. There are currently 81 total levels, but the company has mentioned that more will be available in the future. The exciting part of the game is the little car that you place on your screen. It has front and rear lights, LED on the top to show your progress, and bounces up and down to emulate bumping into other cars and crashing. The car is what really sets it apart from other driving games you can download. Your kids will love it.As mentioned, the car sits directly on your screen, but features a small "suction foam" pad that holds the car in place and avoids any scratches or damage to your screen. I would recommend using a screen protector, but feel confident enough that the car will not cause any damage to my screen.I've downloaded this on both Apple and Android devices and it works great.I received this game at a discount in order to review, but my opinions are honest.

This is tons of fun!!! I didn't have the qrcode reader on my tablet, so I searched the play store for "pocket racing game" and found an application that worked. The cars come with a usb charger, and quickly charges. Open your app and put your charged up car on it and game on! Lots of hours of laughs, giggles and as you get into the higher levels, extreme concentration of competitiveness. My kids are loving this game! We were fortunate to get our pocket racing game complimentary in exchange for our honest and unbiased review.
