Does the exterior of this get hot to touch? I like the look of this machine but i'm Worried about children and pets touching it when it's on.

will this machine work on 60htz or 50 htz?

Mine arrived and says 50hz on the box.

How do the dried fruits and vegetables taste? Is it the same as the store?

No, of course not. Store bought dried fruits are usually freeze dried and treated with various chemicals such as sulphur to stay pliable. A home dehydrator just dries stuff. It’s great for storing food and saving space. Or making powders and spices. Tastes a lot better than shop bought, too.

Anyone had problems receiving this item? Three times I have ordered this, first two got lost in transit, third one still not even dispatched

Personally I would email the supplier direct or get hold of Amazon and request that a different carrier be used to deliver to your home
