I recently picked up the Swing Caddie SC300i, and it has exceeded my expectations. The portability is incredible—super easy to throw in the bag and set up anywhere, whether I’m on the range or practicing at home. For its size and price, the accuracy is impressive and gives me the numbers I actually need to work on my game.The app integration is a huge bonus. It tracks all my shots in a clean, intuitive way, making it easy to see trends and monitor progress over time. Being able to review my data after a session has already helped me make smarter adjustments to my swing.Overall, the SC300i is a great value and an awesome training tool. If you’re looking for a reliable, portable launch monitor, this one is absolutely worth it. 5 stars.

It works great at the range or into a net. Very accurate. Took it to an indoor range with simulator bays. $8,000 units in each bay. Set this unit down 5 feet behind me. Hit a drive and it gave me the exact reading as the $8,000 units. Sound shot was off by 2 yards. Great investment.The app is awesome. You can video record your swing and watch later in slow motion with all the stars. Amazing.One draw back is that it will not read foam balls. Oh well. Still worth it.

Bought this on sale, so I feel like the value was very good for the accuracy and data provided. I'd hoped it would work for baseball bat swings too, and I think I've figured out the correct height. Placed it on a box that's about 10" tall and it was picking up my swings perfectly. About the only issue I've had is the app. It's really deceptive, stating that it collects and shares no info with 3rd parties on Play Store. I also tried to read the Privacy Policy before downloading the app, but it would only pop up in Korean. I guess you could copy and paste for translation, but didn't think the Play Store would allow obvious deception, so I downloaded it. That's when you realize they have plans to share most everything with 3rd parties. Additionally, you have to be connected to a network and enable location in order to connect it to your device or to even view your data at all. That's been the most frustrating issue besides the .0001 font size in their directions, but the manual is easy to find online and I'm using an old tablet so I'm not concerned. You might want to consider the implications and if you choose to record video, it wants video and audio permission as well. Correct those issues and it would be 5 stars from me.The unit is heavy, thanks to the internal battery, but since I just hit into a net at home, or set it up at the range, it's perfect for me. I get swing speed, height and distance values that are very useful at the course. The lithium battery life is excellent. The remote is also an great idea that I keep in my pocket while practicing. It's so easy to switch modes or clubs without ever touching the unit. One surprise for me is how much I appreciate the announcement of either carry or total distance. I thought I'd just turn the volume off, but I really love when you're in a groove and you just keep popping more pills down the range while it confirms your visual results. The accuracy has been very good in my opinion. This unit is not as easy to read in the sunlight though as it is angled in a way that you have to bend down to see it clearly. Maybe I will try tilting it back a touch and see if that helps.The app is just ok, nothing amazing, and it does want to connect to your network every time. That basically rules out using the app when you're at the driving range, unless you tie into their wifi. Privacy anyone? I may try using the video mode to see if it's useful, but I'm annoyed with these sharing aspects. Haven't decided that's important as I already video in slow motion with my phone and that has been VERY helpful. Realized my posture and setup angles were not good and fixing those has really helped my consistency. The most helpful part of the app is graphing each club's average distances and lining up a list of your clubs/distances. These bar graphs make it an excellent tool to track your expected yardage per club, helping you make the correct choice on the course.With all that said, this is a great tool for understanding the most impactful part of your swing....the speed and the contact. A few mph more makes a big difference and this reinforces that immediately during practice.

The Voice Caddie SC-300i is a compact unit that can be carried easily to the range, course or used at home. It is a quality build, very easy to setup and use. An accompanying smartphone app is an added benefit and just adds to the usability of the unit. The information gained by the device would benefit any aspiring golfer. It’s one of the best golf accessory I have ever invested in. It is truly well worth the investment.

I really enjoy using the SC300i for my practice sessions. It’s been a huge help in dialing in my distances with each club and gives me immediate feedback that helps me improve faster. The metrics it actually measures seem very accurate, especially ball speed and carry distance.I also use it for overspeed training, and it’s great to have quick swing speed feedback during those sessions. The calculated numbers like total distance or spin aren’t perfect — you have to take those with a grain of salt — but for the price and portability, this is an excellent launch monitor.Overall, it’s a reliable, easy-to-use device that makes range time more productive and fun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get more out of their practice without spending thousands on a pro-level unit.

When it works, it’s pretty good. Seems to be relatively accurate. Problem is with the on/off button. Hard to turn on then next to impossible to turn off, after a few uses. Have to let the battery die sometimes. This is the second SC300 I’ve had. Same issue with the first one. This is the replacement. Would not recommend this model. Also have a SC200, which works fine. Just can’t connect via Bluetooth to my phone.

I loves this monitor for the price. A definite reality check with the accuracy. I thought I had improved my swing speed and distance playing all that META VR golf (Golf+ game) so much fun. The screen has excellent visibility to read and gives audible carry distance. The remote is great for changing the options and club is use. Now hitting in to the back yard net is way more constructive practice. Swing and ball speed, launch angle, spin, smash factor. Links to your phone with the app, store and download history of your shots. Fantastic quality and functionality for the price. Buy the carring case to protect the investment. Nice size and easy to use. At almost 62, I can see I need to work on my flexibility to lengthen the back swing.

I love that it’s compact, simple to set up, and connects with the app right away, and they work well in tandem, to be able to record the swing at the same time as hitting the ball to get the data on that exact swing is awesome, it does the editing on the swing on its own so you get the full swing without the unnecessary time before and after the swing, which is genius, I’m shocked it edits it so well.Most of the metrics are good. Obviously setting the correct lofts to each club helps the machine guess the speed and distance associated with that club and so it basically extrapolates from the data that it already has based on the simple maths.Unfortunately, the metrics are also not quite accurate sometimes. My irons and most balls bit off the deck, including my fairway wood, seem to be almost perfect, probably 95% or so, and that’s ok.But it’s the driver. A real problem. The spin rate is way off. And I mean it’s reading the driver as double the spin of what it should be. I’m using a 7 degree driver and I know what my normal metrics are using the big machines. This little machine tells me it’s double the spin so the carry is off, obviously. The speed seems to be down also, by about 5mph for me, when compared to GC Quad. Which is a shame!!! Why is that???? May be i need to put this little machine on a tee at the same height as the ball??? Well, I tried that the other day. Same result. Didn’t work. When my spin is usually around 1800, it’s showing me almost double that. Completely inaccurate. It also doesn’t know the difference between a cut shot and a draw shot - the spin comes out the same, when for a cut I should have more than when I’ve hit a hooded hook that should reduce the spin - this machine does not.Oh and the App is almost great, but not quite:If I forget to change the club and I hit some with the wrong one, there is no way to go into Edit to change the label. I presume, again, because it calculated the data based on the loft label and so the data will be skewed so it won’t let you change it after the fact.Also, the Videos in the App have no sound!!! You have to look at the video in your photos library to get the audio. So, when you also try to EXPORT the video, it just sends the video, NOT the data bit across the top of the screen. Would have been nice to be able to send the data along with the video, don’t you think???So, it could use some improvements. But for the price, I’ll use it to practice my ground shots. Can’t beat the price at this point. And the fact that you can see your swing.Voice Caddie, please fix those things in the App. And tell me why the driver is reading double what my normal spin, even though I have it set correctly to 7 degrees of loft.Thanks!!! 🙏I emailed customer support with my data and have had no reply. Not even a response to say they received it. I get that the product is 3 years old now so they’ve given up updating it, probably. Shame. They can easily change the firmware to give us better data results

This device is surprisingly accurate. When compared to Top Tracer equipped ranges and a range finger it’s within 1 yard of accuracy out to 150 yards.I have found this device very helpful with my wedge practice for judging power/distance.

【追記３】半年間これを使用して、各々のショットの質を評価しながら練習していました。ショットの総数はかれこれ4000ショットほどのデータがたまりました。そこへＡＩの進歩が！！！Geminiが、スプレッドシートの分析を『無料』でやってくれるようになりました。試しに、これで収集したドライバーショットのデータ分析を行いました。CSVファイルに出力し、Geminiに分析してもらいました。（それが添付の頻度分布図です。左の方を含めると、正規分布にならないそうです。笑）標準偏差の算出もできるので、（平均ー標準偏差）～（平均+標準偏差）が、どういう範囲になるのかわかります。つまり、サンプルが多数の中で、（調子のいい日のデータだけではなく、笑）、68％確率でどのようなショットが打てるのかという分析ができるようになりました。ただ、スイング改造中なんです。笑チョロがいっぱいある。笑*****************************************【追記２】私が右打ちで、左打ちと向き合って練習していました。このセンサーは、向かいの左打ちのショットのデータを計測していました。笑なので、ドップラーレーダーが発射した電波が向かい側の打席に飛ばないように、箱を置きました。そうしたら、自分のショットだけを計測するようになりました。笑******************************************【追記】iPhoneとペアリングすると、データが随時同期され、都度ショットのデータを確認できます。androidとペアリングすると、なぜかナイスショットのデータのうち、上位いくつかのデータが消去されます。ドライバーで確か235ヤードのキャリー＆５Ｉで170ヤードのキャリーなんて、珍しいものですから、大喜びしたのですが、練習後データを見ると消えています。ただ、235ヤードのショットですが、目視では225ヤードほどだったと思います。そんなこんなで、くれぐれも絶対値としてはあてになりません。ただ、7月に購入して、半年。3000球打ちました。（これを使えない練習場でも3000球かも？笑）母数の大きな統計が取れているので、クラブ毎の平均飛距離は貴重なデータだと思っています。*************************************そもそも、データを『重視』したいなら、もっと多額の投資がされた練習場の弾道計測器を使うべきだと思います。千葉在住の６０歳です。近くにコースボールを使用し、ボールの落下地点まで見える練習場があります。（まぁ、ボールに多少の傷はありますが・・・。）飛距離の要素が、ボールスピードと打ち出し角とバックスピン量だそうなので、この機器を使い、１スイングごとに上記の３要素について確認したかった。方向や曲がりは目で確認すればいいかなと思っています。そうすれば、もう少しスイングをナイスショットに収束していけるのではないかと。（老化という悲哀を見せつけられてしまうかもしれません。笑）これの前にヘッドスピード計も購入していました。同じショットを２つの機器で測ったヘッドスピードには3～5ｍ/ｓの誤差があります。なので、ヘッドスピードの絶対値を計測するのはムリでしょう。（なので★４つ）飛距離は同じくらいです。ヘッドスピードとボールスピードは小さめに出ると思います。１日の練習の中で１球ごとのショットの差を表示する目安と考えて使うと有用なのかなと思っています。ボールスピードと打ち出し角とバックスピン量には標準値のようなものがあるようなので、１球ごとに質の良いショットにまとめていくよう練習しようと考えています。まぁ、ドップラーレーダー式弾道計測器で飛距離を測定しても、風や気圧や雨まで考えてくれるわけではありません。実際にコースでの飛距離は、その時の状況によるわけだから、正確でなくてもいいのかもと思っています。コースを回るときに必要なのは、次のショットの距離であり、打ち終わったショットがどれだけ飛んだのか？ではないと思います。（カメラ式弾道計測器なら、ショットの結果をトレースするのかな？）息子は５万円の弾道計測器より、ドライバーを買えば？と言われました。キャロウェイのＥＲＣ（千円！：１5年落ち？の中古）を使っています。笑私は、最善のスイングができた時、それに合ったクラブを買いたいと思うのです。（高いクラブは買ったことない。安いクラブはたくさん買った。今考えれば、そのクラブを買った意味がわからない。笑）あくまで趣味なので、どこまでやるのか？もありますが・・・。とりあえず、この機器まではやってみようかと。まぁ、これが第一印象というところです。

Highly recommend the sc300i. Small enough to travel in my stand bag. The large screen is easy to read and no phone/tablet needed at the range. Used it on the range and compared results with toptracer and results were very good. Lots of battery (10 hrs). Easy to setup. The remote is very convenient for changing clubs and practice modes.
