Go-To Incense
The sticks have a solid burn time, usually around 45 minutes, making them long-lasting enough for meditation or winding down. Freshness is noticeable—the oils don’t smell stale, and the aroma holds up even in storage. The scent is balanced, not overpowering, with smooth undertones depending on the blend. While not edible, the “flavor” or profile is like woody and feels intentional and well-layered. There’s a good variety available and stick length is standard, about 8 to 9 inches, easy to work with and fits most holders.

Reliable, traditional incense
If you, like me, sought out import stores in the 90s and fell in love with stick incense from India, these will be a pleasing bit of nostalgia. They smell like the first Nag Champa I ever encountered - slightly sweet and earthy-spicy. They burn evenly, light easily, and have a strong enough scent to fill a few rooms.Be prepared for lots of shed resin in the box - it can be messy, but has never left any gaps or thin spots in the sticks I’ve bought. These are also more likely to leave oily soot than charcoal-based incense sticks. The lovely scent makes that trouble worthwhile. The peace-sign incense burner, however, is corny as can be. I gave mine away to a Rastafarian kid. He likes it, maybe you will too.

Good smelling
I love this scent . I said I was going to burn some in my bedroom so my clothes can pick up the scent since I rarely wear perfume. When people come to visit they comment how nice my house smells. It's subtle but one of those scents you search out. Where is that scent coming from? Who's cologne is that? Not over powering. Just smells good!

Pleasantly surprised
Kept hearing about the Mumbai not being as good as the Bengaluru. But these smell good, it's a sweeter more almost vanilla smelling dragons blood. Those talking about soap smell or such, I get it. But I don't think so when they burn. The box definitely smells like soap. But also so did all the others I've gotten from satya including Bengaluru. All of them smell like fabric softener. But this one didn't ring that bell for me, but definitely if you use lots of fabric softeners you might equate this smell with those. But for me it's got a hint of dragons blood. I don't smell any nag champa, the bng dragons blood smelled like 90 percent nag champa. These not as much. So it's a pleasant switch from the constant smell of nag champa. But I do love nag champa also, so I'd use the bng ones too. But the burn time and burn quality is good. Hasn't irritated my nose or eyes, and most do a little so that's impressive for me I hope it means it is a clean burn! And to those complaining about the holder, did you not see the main picture? Every holder this style I've ever used has thrown ash. I think that's a petty reason to leave a negative review. The holder is them adding a 25 cent bonus for convenience and value, and i like it because I can never have too many of these holders laying around the house. Buy a nice holder if that's what you're looking for. This listing is for incense.
