I got this doll for my youngest granddaughter { 3 years old} She wanted a baby doll that looks like a real baby.} I had originally purchased a doll from Ashton Drake { I SUGGEST NEVER BBUYING FROM THEM! I will not go into detail's on it all. Just always look for companies and feedback on them on the BBB website. I can say YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DIDNT! } Back to the review on this doll. I took her bottle out of the box to see if the lid actually unscrewed and comes off. Indeed it does! It was time for Gamma to whip up a nice fake baby formula for her. { Don't worry there is no hole in the hard plastic nipple portion of the bottle, not anywhere else for that matter :-) I put the lid top back on pretty tight so she doesn't open it and make a huge mess. { Because She Will TRY, I have no doubts! } I purchased her a whole pack of preemie diapers and some preemie clothes from Carter's.com ! They were on sale. I didn't bother to buy "doll clothes" They are always so thin and cheaply looking. Preemie clothes may seem to be a little big for this doll, It is because they make room for diapers whereas doll clothes do not! They are mad to just fit the doll as is. We have got to make this a real looking baby right?! So, I got her a few real baby sleepers and thing like that. The doll is pretty soft compared to the hard molded plastic dolls I got growing up. This doll is NOT silicone either, she is not that soft and squishy. She will definitely do for now. This doll is still way too expensive but not as expensive as Ashton Drake , most of their dolls do not even look like the photos when you get them either. I have seen the doll I was getting her on another site that was "used" That doll would have made me cry because I know it would have disappointed my granddaughter so. That doll was so UGLY and oh my goodness I am so glad they cancelled that one on me. I am pretty sure their distributer is in CHINA also, That is why it takes so long for them to get to folks. They are super way over priced also!~ When comparing this doll with those at A.D. This one is pocket change. This is the best price I found this doll for. I believe she will be thrilled over this one.

This was a gift and it was a home run. We call her “Baby Emily.” Baby Emily looks so real we have received dirty looks from people thinking we were not being safe with this newborn as she was slung over our shoulder. She is a nice plastic and has wrinkles and folds in all the right spots to make her look realistic. One of the selling points for us, is she all plastic and can get a bath. Many other brand dolls are soft cushioned in the body and cannot be submerged in water. Baby Emily can take a bath, go in the pool, or whatever. She is 15 inches, so she can wear bitty baby, Target and Walmart Doll clothes She also comes with a pacifier and a bottle which slide easily into her mouth and stays put. Any little girl would be thrilled to have her for their very own. The only thing I would change is to allow her eyes to close when she is lying down.

I purchased this doll for my second daughter because she got the girl doll passed down from my older daughter and wanted the twin boy. This is one of the most precious dolls Ive ever purchased. I have gotten the reborn dolls, several brands on here, and from other stores such as Walmart and target, but none of them are as beautiful as this one to me. Now if you’re not one that wants your little one seeing their anatomically correct privates, then this is not the doll for you, but for me it was perfect! We keep our dolls covered and clothed anyway so that wasn’t an issue for me. The value for the money was also not an issue as I paid the same price for the female doll years ago and it’s still my favorite doll. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful baby doll for their little ones!

While this doll is well made, and as realistic as you can get without 3D airbrush, she was not weighted and smaller than described. Took longer than the promised arrival date, but my granddaughter loves her and that's what really matters.

There is nothing I can say that I dislike on this doll, she is absolutely adorable, well made, as well as the clothing, my granddaughter will love her, she looks prettier, and is way better made than she looks in the photos. However I thought she came with the bracelet, soother, and bottle, but they can be purchased for under $10. Canadian. Well worth the money, and yes I would, and will recommend this doll to others! I like matching dolls, but prefert them with differnt faces. In this case, while the gender parts show according to colour of garments, the faces are the same for the pink and the blue. I bought both and am glad to have them. Thay are precious and I think any little girl whether young in age or old in age would enjoy having at least one of these. Arriving clean and fresh in original unopened box.
