Is this for the low pressure, or high pressure side of the propane tank?

Posted photo of the valve shows its body has " 1/2 psig" forged into it (13.8 in WC) so definitely low pressure.

I took the propane furnace out of my camper & hooked the propane line to a camco wave heater, but i'd like to have a shut off valve. would this work?
