Tried all kinds of big name brands and these sound as good or better. It connects and reconnects very quickly. After the initial pairing I have never had to do anything other than turning the earphones on to get them to pair. When using the cable they operate as normal unpowered headphones. I use them when out and about and they are much better than ordinary headphones for listening and keeping out external noise. This is with a phone playing music or video and using Bluetooth so no tangled cables.
