Beautiful solution to bad packaging
I bought these to solve the issue of cheap multi-spindle packaging I've been experiencing from a certain production company when I bought my favorite tv series recently. I was afraid that the distainful package they had chosen for the disks made them especially vulnerable to scratches, and I wanted to preserve the Honor of their House! These are hands down the most beautiful solution on the market. Will they last absolutely forever? Meh, but they are VERY nice so with proper treatment and short of some calamity I believe they are nice enough to last the life of my disks.

Saves space and got rid of all of the plastic covers. Only wish they hadn't discontinues this product and the sleeves that fit this binder

They look fancy!
I have over 1000 DVDs and for a long time my family has been complaining about the wall of DVD's because we have a small house. It's a small house and an old house. We have begun to renovate the space, so I begrudgingly began to look for ways to be able to keep my DVD collection but take up less shelving real estate. I settled for these books because they have a prestigious look to them. Initially I balked at the price but then I figured that there are three binders that come in the set and breaking that down, it's actually quite reasonable. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the quality of the board underneath the covering. It seems like it's cardboard. I would actually pay more if it was made of something stronger than cardboard or whatever it is, possibly a wood of some type or even a reinforced plastic of some kind. It was really hard to part with the plastic cases, but they are recyclable. I am keeping the inserts in a drawer because I have so many DVD's I was mainly focused on getting as many in the binders as possible. I did buy quite a few extra sleeve packages. I'm overall very satisfied with the purchase and did I mention I'm on my third set? I opted for the all black ones on my third set to hold just the kid/family movies. The classics I'm keeping in the plastic cases. I figure I can keep at least ONE shelf of classics and favorites in the cases. I'm kind of visual so sometimes I pick a DVD based on the cover. The image might speak to me. My fear is that I'll glance over a title with a boring plain grey disk, but this company accounts for that by making slots for the inserts so you can have some kind of visual reminder of the movie other than the title. Someday I might get more binders and space the DVD's out to include the inserts but for now, I'm content with the 9 binders I have and the ones I opted to keep in their plastic cases. The pictures don't do them justice. One picture shows cardboard template at the and of the binders and this is to use as a guide for how many more inserts full of DVD's or CD's you can fit inside and have the binder close properly.

Beautiful way to store blu rays or dvds
I love these and have upgraded all my blu rays into these binders. They look great and hold the DVDs perfectly on my bookshelf. I hope they come back in stock. I need more!!

DVD Artwork Keepers BEWARE! Artwork MUST Be Cut Or Sleeves Tailored!
What made these stand out (for me) over other DVD organization systems was their claim that they could easily hold DVD artwork along with the discs. Well, yes but no! The sleeves are far too narrow to accommodate standard DVD artwork inserts without SOME form of tailoring. There are a couple options out there that requires a bit of extra work, creative thinking or money: 1): The artwork must either be cut to size (not an option for me) or 2): Physically change the included sleeves by adding extra slits or creating extra pockets or flaps that will accommodate the artwork (I will cut up some 8.5X11 letter protectors), or 3): Shop around for different 3-hold binder inserts that truly fit all DVD contents. I fully understand that this was a priority of mine in order to keep the artwork intact and may not be a priority for others, which is why I can't hold it against these binders for just that one reason. Yes, they are really pretty and look great on the shelf. The quality is still so-so, but I had no real high hopes since they are made in China. They are definitely cardboardy but will still last a long time. They do serve the purpose they were designed to do, and that's to condense down a large DVD/CD/game collection. If that's all you care that they do, then I highly recommend them in that aspect. BUT! If you want a system that condenses down your collection while keeping the artwork intact, expect to get creative or find different inserts! I'm still happy with the way they look, and for that reason I will not return these; but I will have to set aside some extra time or money to keep the artwork. Hope my review helps.
