After suffering through a record-setting heat wave without AC, I picked up this unit for my bedroom and it's been life-changing on hot nights, allowing my to get the bedroom down to a comfortable sleeping temp. It is a little energy inefficient and runs a lot, but if you need to cool a bedroom to get a good night's sleep in the summer, it's a perfect choice and comes with everything you need to get it up and running. One note with this unit, you need to have a window in the room to attach the vent hose (which pumps the hot motor air outside). Definitely happy with this purchase.
