I do wish the pieces were more secure when storing them, they are kind of all over the place with a spot on either end for the checker pieces. One complaint is you have to take out all the pieces for both games to play, I wish somehow you could just take out the chess pieces and leave the checkers in their spot, but when you flip the board over everything would fall out. The moment I opened the set a plume of the dust came out, filled the air, and covered all nearby surfaces. I had to get a vacuum cleaner to try and get most of it up, then had to use it on all the pieces since they too were covered.
