Amazing!
This stuff is amazing! We have a pocket bully that has alopecia and just very sensitive skin in general and this stuff helps so much! His skins gets so dry and flaky and he’s always scratching. He’s allergic to chicken so once we figured that out and started using this, it was a game changer! Does have a smell but is not over powering! He seems to love this and it soothes his dry itchy skin! We have bought this multiple times and will keep using it. It works pretty fast! We originally bought these one pack but now buy it 2 packs at a time, it’s just that good! Very easy to use and definitely worth the money for us! Does exactly what it says it does!

Works on dry, unbroken skin due to inflammation. Nice scent.
UPDATE: Justbought a jar for my neighbor's new pup with excema. This pup's coat look a lot healthier after 1 St application & lik my dog, loves the taste...no digestive problems if the lick or even eat it! Surprising how nice this "semi-hard butter like" oil is. I'm still evaluating after 2 weeks but seems my Aussie's foot & nail biting is much less. He has been on Apoquel (serious anti-inflammatory K9 only med) which works on the itch but not completely. After started scraping this butter on a tongue blade then my finger, I applied it inside in-between his paws/pads & inner thighs where he's had skin inflammation from a likely grass allergy. Since we used this coconut butter he's definitely not scratching as horribly as he did just a week before. It does seem to be this coconut butter that's helping. I've also used it on the OUTER EARS--not into the inner part of his outer ear....just around the ear flap. I'm using other Vet prescribed medicated ear wash & meds deep in his ears 1 time/week. This butter IS SAFE FOR DOGS TO INGEST. In fact, he love licking a bit from my finger. I'd suggest though, using a tongue blade to scrape off the coconut butter from the jar, THEN putting on clean fingers for application to various parts of body. My dog's got major allergies & I don't want to cross contaminate the jar contents between different body part applications. Besides his feet/pad ear flaps & inner thighs where the skins so inflamed, my vet said its okay to put it around his inflamed itchy anus--OF COURSE when I do this I take just the amount needed on a clean tongue blade then apply it. I never put my fingers into jar without washing my hands before each application site. Overall it does seem to relieve inflamed areas' that are terribly itching. It smells very nice with a hint of coconut. I may order a jar for myself as after I have it on my hands & fingers, they are smooth even waterproof! Good stuff.

Miracle Stuff
So I wanted to wait a little bit before giving my thoughts on this stuff. I wasn't sure what to think so I did rely heavily on outside reading and alongside some of the reviews here. And I LOOOOOOOVE this coconut oil! I thought to myself, if coconut oil is so healthy and helpful for humans, it's got to be great for pets too and sure enough it is! I have two dogs. One black and one white and the black one (shepherd mix) had a really bad dandruff problem. Anytime you'd pet her, it'd "snow". So I started massaging this into her skin/fur and within a couple days her dandruff was completely eradicated. My white one is a 4 month old GSD but she's all white. I know there could be multiple reasons for her tear stains and I've gotten some remover which slowly seems to help but I've started using the coconut oil in addition which has seemed to help speed up the removal of her tear stains. I also give them a teaspoon after they eat dinner and they look more forward to getting this "treat" than their actual dinner! I love the way the stuff smells and has made my dogs coats feel. It is kinda of oily on initial application but it's an oil so that's to be understood. The next day, their fur is soft and luxurious and super shiny. This company has a customer for life and I'll certainly be buying more.

Good product
This has helped my dachshund who has pretty bad dermatitis. When I adopted him from the humane society he had these issues so I bought this for him and it helps with his itching and makes his skin softer and not so dry and crusty feeling 😬 the only issue I’ve had with this product is the price of it, I could have just bought it from a grocery store for cheaper but I wanted something just for him and I can use mine for myself instead of sharing it with a dog, but you do get a good bit for the price and it will last awhile. So all in all I’m very happy with this purchase and would buy again for my pups

Product seems decent IF YOU CAN OPEN THE JAR
Okay, let it be known that this product does NOT contain a seal between the jar and the lid, so I found that a bit odd. This was absolutely the hardest plastic jar to open and I don't mean that lightly - I normally do not have this issue. Both of my dogs immediately loved the taste of this product but cannot comment on the long-term outcomes since I got it today. Price seems high comparatively speaking so I will shop around but I wanted to make sure the first product I tried was pet-safe. I plan to incorporate this into both dogs' diets (1 dog is very sensitive [read: itchy] to dry, winter air) as well as using it on their rough elbow spots. With 2 large dogs, this jar won't last me very long but I will start with smaller doses as suggested.

Amazing Results!!!!
This product needs to be on every veterinarian’s shelf for sale. My dog developed a hard, growing cluster of dry skin. My vet prescribed medication, but I bought and tried this product instead. Within 2 days, I started noticing the dryness improving, and by the 3rd day, it was gone!

Pure Coconut Oil for you Pet's Medicine Chest.
Received the Pet Zone Coconut Oil for Dogs very quickly. It was in wide mouth plastic jar and was very tightly sealed (no leaks in shipping). Had to get my husband, the jar opener, to open it for me. A nice plus is an expiration date on the jar. The jar I bought 7/2016 has expiration date of 9/2018. Many animal products don't have expiration dates. Has a light, pleasant odor. It is USDA certified organic and 100% pure, raw, coconut oil. Yeah! No added chemicals, perfumes, colors, or fillers. I prefer organic, pure products for myself, and I try to find similar products for my pets. Having used coconut oil myself for all kinds flaking skin problems, I was excited to see that it was available for my pets. (Don't know why I had not looked for this before now.) When put in their food or rubbed on their bodies, the dogs did not mind the smell or the taste. I think this is going to be a great additional to my pet medicine chest to use for dry, cracked noses and paws, sore skin spots, and to use internally for just general good health. Disclosure: I did receive these at a reduced cost (and sometimes for free) in exchange for my review of the product. I am an avid Amazon customer. I depend on the reviews that others have posted when I make buying decisions. If I do not like something, I am not going to say I do.If you think my review was helpful to you, please check the "Yes" vote below.
