Review: So far so good. - I was not impressed with the amount of mycelium present as the syringe did not contain much at all compared to other reviewers. Never the less I planted it; some in used coffee grounds with ground wheat flakes and the other half in hardwood pellets and ground wheat flakes. Both appear to be growing a healthy amount of mycelium. Since there was not much mycelium in the syringe compared to the growth medium I was unable to instill any into a log as I had hoped.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Viable spore mycelium, but small quantity

The syringe was full of liquid, but only had a very small amount of visible mycelial growth. I managed to get it to the needle end of the syringe and inoculated my grain. It began to grow in less than 24 hours, which is great! However, I don’t think the rest of the syringe has anything other than the liquid medium in it. I’ll throw some on an agar dish and see what happens. I’m guessing this was an exception, not the rule, for this company. I say this because I also ordered Lion’s Mane and Chestnut and they were both packed full of mycelial growth!
