it is a carbolic soap?

I believe it is carbolic but it does not have that old-time Lifebuoy odor. Attempting to get that old odor, I ordered soap called carbolic soap and it was about the same as the lifebuoy soap. I am afraid the original lifebuoy soap is lost forever; however, this soap is very good soap and I certainly do use it. In my youth, I remember the mothers all knowing their boys had bathed by the smell and when we got to school, everybody else knew.
