Not the cheapest, but the best Update 15/9/2025: More than 3 years later ... and still going strong!

So my hair is thick. If I shave off half my hair, I need only 6 goody hair bands to hold my hair in a simple ponytail without stretching out or breaking after 6 uses. (The goody bands will stretch out faster in smaller quantities, scunci full on breaks no matter how many or few I attempt). I decided to give these a go, though they are expensive for only 3 bands. I will absolutely NOT be purchasing again. One use has it so stretched out I have to double wrap for the second use, which stretches it out further. Second band is faring much the same. I'll try washing it and running it through the dryer, but I really don't have a ton of faith in a hair tie that claims to be burly and is burly for only 5 minutes. I need a hair band that can contain my mane, and this is just not it.

My hair …I love these ties, I was reluctant at first, I thought they were a little spendy….however they work and are very durable. Second set I bought. The first set(3 ties in a set) lasted more than 3 years with daily use.

These have impressed me. I used to purchase a popular brand in the "strong hold" thinking it was as good as it got. It would hold my hair well for the first use then would stretch and be ineffective. I also purchased the coil type since they had good reviews but they didn't hold my thick hair well, either. I didn't think these would be a big improvement but, wow, I was wrong. These do not lose their effectiveness over time. They keep their shape and continue holding my hair firmly use after use. I will be buying more in other colors.

I am almost 30 years old, and I've been searching my entire life for some kind of easy hair tie that will hold my hair in a bun shape. Everything else I've tried either snaps when I try to fit my huge hair into it, or is too weak to hold it up. But these bands work great!! I have a job where I'm active and move around a lot, and these bands hold my hair in a bun for my entire shift. Highly recommend for women with long, voluminous, curly hair.
