My puppy loves it. At 12 weeks some of the pieces are too thick/big for him. As a small breed puppy. I’m sure in a few weeks it won’t be an issue.I love the human grade food quality that Honest kitchen is known for. I researched a dozen companies when I knew I was getting a new puppy. While it’s among the pricey food for dogs, I feel like for our family, we invest in good food. The humans and the animals. We skip a lot of things to be able to eat clean food and we try to provide that to our pet as well. So yes, pricey. Worth it to us.I like that they offer both a grain free, and healthy grain option. I love the adjacent products that compliment the kibble. Like the pour overs, goat milk powder, and pates. The entire line of products from puppyhood to adulthood is very solid.Like his poop! The end result of the high quality kibble is nice firm, consistent poops. Not dry. But well formed and solid. His digestion does great with this line.I will be recommending it to the other moms at the puppy playground ☺️

After many hours scouring the internet for a puppy food that is grain inclusive, made with quality ingredients, minimally processed, lightly baked, appropriate for large breed puppies, and not one of the giant pet food brands— I decided to try honest kitchen! My 3 month old golden LOVES it! And honestly it really isn’t expensive when compared to foods similar in quality. I see a lot of people say that the only thing they don’t like is the powdered pieces, but I add bone broth (make sure it has no seasonings) to my pup’s bowl and he licks it clean. If the powder is an issue for your dog- don’t waste it, add a liquid to the bowl. Or even bake the powder into homemade dog treats! The powder is because of the nature of the food- it’s not baked at extreme temperatures with all kinds of fillers to solidify it. So far, we are loving this food!
