JULIA JONES' DIARY- Book 2: My Secret Bully: Diary Book for Girls 9-12

This book is great not just this but book 1 as well I have read book 1 and 2 and I'm going on to book 3 and the whole series. Dreally never us to read books I used to hate them but I saw this book and I read it and it was amazing it wasn't like any other books! Can't wait to read the rest of the book. :)

I really like it and I'm counting down the days till I can get the third one!I just kinda wish it had not been 0.99.. but it's fun to read! another problem with it is that the pictures won't load it just has a picture of a camera with a warning sign. could you help me with that? thanks!Iris

Found these books by accident. My ten-year-old granddaughter loves them. We are on book 4 now. Helps kids understand what makes other kids tick and how to handle sticky situations. Vocabulary is awesome and she enjoyed studying the word meanings....really.

I loved this book and the drama(dont ask why). julia is gullible as she let sara lead her to a shed and julia INJURED herself! Yeesh.I think this book was really good :) ok enough bye

SO I bought this for my 9 yr old to read because she enjoys chapter books. She also reads at a 12 yr old level so I thought it would be appropriate. It’s not really. We read it together and some parts even I cringe at the appropriateness of it. This is definitely more for the intermediate/middle school levels.

My 11 year old daughter loves this series and recommends to other girls near her age group. I love that this series keeps her reading beyond her usual 30 minutes of timed reading. She chooses these over watching Youtubers...double bonus!

I LOVE this book! It is so awesome and it was very interesting. I really would like to read more of these books soon. Books three, four, five, six and so on I hope will be even more great. Like I said in the book 1 review I would recommend this book to almost every girl in the world but definitely get the other books too!

The writing was completely juvenile. The storyline I've heard a hundred times. Everything was rushed and confusing and forced. Julia, the main character, was a whiny emotional drama queen who could not stand up for herself. Also, she apparently could break the law without any chastisement! She stole a skirt, and never did that become an issue. She even kept the stolen goods! She lied to her mom, complained to her best friend, and was just so darn unlikable! Sara, the 'mean girl', was one-dimensional and flat. Nothing of interest happened. She was mean for a while, Julia gets a counselor, and viola! Everything is perfect for everyone. And I haven't even mentioned the horrible grammatical errors! So many run-on sentences that is was unbearable! Also, this happened way too many times: "WHAT???" Said so and so. Three question marks? Seriously? The author also put two exclamation marks very frequently. I cringed so many times at the awkward dialogue. If I told you everything that was wrong with this book, I would take all day. And this book is not worth my time. Did a child write this?

This book if very fun for a child to read, not too challenging either

I chose this book because I enjoy other books that are similar to this one. I would recommend this book to any girl who is 9-12 years old. This book is great and helpful to any one, getting bullied. I was not getting bullied while reading this great book however it would come in handy if I ever did. This book was very inspiring! Julia Jones is a great character. Her feelings are shown very well. I, personally think the author, Katrina Kahler is also very amazing and can write as if she is getting bullied. I am ten years old and enjoyed it. I was hooked and read it within two days. It is really cheep for how good the book is! Go on you know you want to buy it. :-)

It is really good book and it definitely shows thet of you are being bullied then it really helps to talk to someone.It is a really good mystery book. It shows what bullying is like and how to deal with it..

As a mother, I am very unhappy at how Sara was able to get away with all her bullying. Even poor Julia's mother didn't believe her. What sort of message is this sending out it bullies and the victim.The only saving grace of this book was the counselling.
