Product is strong, sturdy and of high quality metal. Probably the 4” option might be a better choice as this bigger 6” version makes it a bit difficult to pick up smaller items in the lab.

This product is very well made and exactly the size I needed

The serrations on the jaws are not precision - they are not made exactingly and do not align peak in groove with each other. When closed there are small gaps in the jaws. A fine hair, for example, can and does slip out, even when squeezing the arms/handles tightly to firmly close the jaws.

I needed long tweezers to retrieve vanilla beans from the wine bottle they were steeping in. Worked great.
