HS700E 4K UHD Drone with EIS Anti Shake 130 FOV Camera for Adults, GPS Quadcopter with 5GHz FPV Transmission, Brushless Motor, Easy Auto Return Home, Follow Me and Outdoor Carrying Case

I have only been flying a couple of months and wanted to step up from the hs 120 which is an excellent entry point ; not too expensive not to cheap. I wanted something more though as I was looking for better video quality and more stability when flying . As a beginner this was the perfect next step. The unit is solid and well made. The package came with a very nice case , two batteries, extra blades and nice owners manual. Easier to setup then the 120 as once you turn the drone on the wifi is picked up easily. Calibration was a snap with excellent lighting on the drone. I tested the return to home, follow me and circle me options and they all worked great. The video and photo quality of the 4k camera is very nice. As a beginner I am still working on not having jerky movements when adjusting the camera angles. Overall very happy with this drone. Would have been nice if you could fold the props because otherwise to put back in the case you have to remove them each time. Also even though the books are excellent it would be nice to have a quick start guide for us newbies. Step one turn on the drone , step 2 turn on the remote and what lights to look for at each step etc. . But that's just because I am new at this . I guess people that have been flying a while don't need that. One small thing Holy Stone should go ahead and include the batteries for the remote and a small sd card so its ready to use when you get it. Also, the drone batteries do take several hours to charge and you simply use the included usb cords. Be sure to check the amperage of your charger per the owners manual recommendations so as not to overcharge. Holy Stone customer service has a great reputation and is always there to help. Again very happy with the purchase and considering all you get in the package ; I feel its an overall very good value. Looking forward to much more flying. Oh by the way be sure and register as this is over the minimum weight. It's quick and easy and only $5 bucks for hobbyists. You only have to register once for all your drones. I think you will be very happy with this drone.

This drone is so fun I feel compelled to write a review! I will use as much detail as possible as to why I enjoy it so much! First is the case. It is durable and keeps the drone well protected. As a hiker I like to take it on outings often so a solid case is a plus. Next I like that it has 2 batteries. These batteries last longer than any I have had yet, with my longest flight over 25 minutes and still wasn't returning home! 2 charge cables that are C port are included. There is a extra set of propellers included as well. The real neat part about them is they require no tools to change. Simply push down and turn each propeller as the arrow states for on/off. They are spring loaded and work very well! The remote works as most do, and controls are reversible. The phone holder works well as does the app, although not required. If you want photos and videos you will need to download the free app OR install a SD card in the drone. I prefer the app so I can see exactly what my photos will look like and where the camera is pointing. The camera is 4k and impressive for this price range drone. It has a 90 degree tilt controlled by a small wheel on top of the remote. Video quality is amazing and it is very easy to take still shots while using video in the app. This drone has a home feature that works flawless. When the battery gets too low it returns "home" and will land where it last took off from. It gets a great GPS signal even in dense areas I did not expect it to. At any time you can push the home button and the drone will automatically return to the take off point. There is a "follow me" feature as well that is interesting. By turning this on in the app the drone will follow the remote. Definitely cool if you want to see yourself running or driving slow! I have not yet used the point of interest function, but I'm sure it will work as great as everything else has! The drone is incredibly easy to fly and more stable than any of my other drones. I would recommend it for any skill level! It also did much better than expected when the winds were a bit more than I anticipated. The camera stayed steady and it didn't seem to struggle at all. Be sure you are in fast mode though, as well as turn off beginner mode in the app if you use that! The extra power makes it much easier to control in my opinion. Cool little drone long time to charge the battery short flight time

The Holy Stone HS700E is an excellent drone! When I got this drone I plugged in the batteries which charged in a few hours. After charging the 2 included batteries I took the drone out to fly. The pairing on the remote and calibration of the drone was a breeze and it was in the air in a minute. The drone flew extremely well and for a long time too. The video feed streaming back to my phone was smooth and crisp. When I looked at the pictures and videos from it I was very impressed. The image and video quality is great. It does 4k 30fps or 1080p 60fps. Both modes are extremely smooth because of the EIS. After the drone auto-landed because the first battery was low I put in the second battery and tested how long it flew. I put it into high speed mode and flew it all around. Almost non stop. It flew for exactly 23 minutes which was great! The battery life is a perfect amount of time to have a lot of fun with this drone. The app connection is great as well so you can easily view the camera from the drone in real time. The build quality of the drone is very sturdy and the blades are easy to take on and off. The case it comes with has 2 slots for the batteries as well as the controller and drone. You would be able to get a 3rd battery and leave it in the drone while in the case as well. Overall: It’s an excellent drone The Camera: Outstanding The Controller: Great The App: Nice The Build quality: Super The Battery life: Amazing I really recommend the Holy Stone HS700E to anyone! It’s perfect for your first drone if you are just getting into the drone hobby as you can use it in low speed or for a professional who wants to fly fast in high speed. This drone checks all boxes and is a great drone.

Bought two of these drones and they both had the same issue the controller and the drone would not pair. Called support and they said to move to a different location so I moved to three different locations, down the street and an open field and what I want vacation about 50 miles away and a open field and it’s still would not pair both of them. My experience with support was a representative reading from a script doing all the troubleshooting that I did actually less because I visited forums and spoke to current and previous owners of this drone that had similar issues. Save yourself your time, money, effort, energy, and avoid this company or at least this model drone. The drone looks cool well built and the price keeps coming down. I think they originally started at 250. I bought mine for $95 and now they’re at $79 so what does that tell you? They know there’s a problem and they’re just trying to get rid of them. Junk avoid.

I already have the Holy Stone HS720E 4K EIS (fold up drone) and wanted a rigid model to compliment it in my fleet. I have had great luck with the HS720E so I thought I would give the HS700E a try. Unboxing it, I was very happy to see the padded case with compartments for the drone and components. It has the same remote as my HS720E, so it was a quick set up. I rated this as good for a beginner, yet feel that this rating is applicable to older kids and adults that will take the time to follow the instructions. This thing is awesome to fly and the camera and stability is great (I like it better than my HS720E, and that one takes nice videos and pictures). Another aspect I really liked are the quick attach/detach blades. The blades and arms are clearly marked A & B along with the fact they can only press and twist into the correct arms. I recommend starting in the low speed before moving to high speed. Also, it was defaulted to a beginner mode (won't go very far out and up). Make sure you check the mode if you feel it is not responding to the remote, as the beginner settings will stop it from going very far. This thing has a lot of features found in much more expensive drones (follow me and orbit are a couple cool features). My only gripe would be the 5 hour charge time. Being this drone is at a decent price point, you can always pick up a couple more batteries on Amazon. I recommend doing that after you try the drone out for a while to make sure it is a keeper for you (as the batteries are model specific) Bottom line, this is a great drone and you will not be disappointed with the drone or the customer service from Holy Stone (I have had good luck with both). This drone is well designed and flies very stable right out of the box. All of the features it promises work as advertised. My biggest reason for buying this drone was that it had the legs to protect the camera during landing instead of other designs that belly land without ample protection to the camera. A couple quick notes for new buyers to help make the most of it: 1. The drone does use a micro SD card to store the high quality pictures and video. A lower quality version of the media will be recorded directly to your phone over the WiFi connection while you are flying. Once you land you will then be able to go in and download the images from the SD card. This is due to the shear size taken up by 4K video. As an example, a minute and a half video clip used up half a gigabyte of space on the SD card. The video uploaded above is the one that directly recorded to my phone so there is a bit of pixelation at times but I assure you that isn’t there in the video downloaded from the SD card. 2. When first turned on it will be put in beginner mode which I would recommend turning off. This will limit the height and distance you can fly as well as not allow you to rotate the drone horizontally. The reason I say you are ok to turn it off right away is because when there is no input coming from the controller the drone will hover very smoothly, not drifting at all, which allows you ample time to look at the controller as well as familiarize yourself with the buttons on the phone app. 3. When you are ready to land it is as simple as hitting the Return to Home button, which will have the drone move to and hover over the spot it took off from, then simply hit the auto land button and watch it gently land itself.

This is a great drone… if you can find a way to power it. I got this drone as a gift three years ago. At that time, it cost around $400 and came with two batteries. I had no problems with it until it was stolen. When I saw its price drop down to under $100, I jumped at the chance to have another one. It was delivered next day, brand new. Unfortunately, I was soon to realize the reason for the unbelievable price drop. The current bundle includes just one, not two, batteries as my first one did. With a stated battery life of over 20 minutes, I could get by with a single battery. But it seems HS700e batteries have reached the twilight of their lifespan. After charging my “new” Holy Stone battery for the recommended 5 hours, only 3 of the 4 charge indication leds lit up. Not wanting to overcharge it, I went ahead with a test flight. I got maybe a minute of flight time before the drone began flashing red lights and auto-landed. The battery lights showed a one light charge. Observing nobody excessive heat or bulging on the battery, I gave it another full charge. Same result. Replacement batteries are unavailable on Amazon and I can’t find them anywhere else. Save yourself the hassle and don’t make the mistake I did. It’s a great drone but it may as well be a paper weight without power.
