I wasn’t expecting these to be any good because I thought “why can’t you just use paper and pencil”. These are nothing like that. I love the groove it has because it makes it a little easier for my son to follow. The best part though is they fit in my purse. I homeschool my kids and I can take these anywhere and they can practice all the time. I hope they make more of these because they are really neat and practical and I would highly recommend.

My boys are going learning to write but their letters are crazy shapes and sizes. The boys got this in the mail yesterday and were so excited to use a pen. The best part was that with the indent of the letters they were able to figure out their own individual direction of writhing letters while still making it legible. My oldest boy is swaying more towards being left handed, in this case the finger grip does still work but the bottom curve is the wrong way, doesn't seem to notice, still loves writing in the book. Good product for learning math, drawing and writing. Pen holder fit in my daughter’s hand. She likes to play with books.
