Fior di Latte (Sweet Cream) Base Gelato Mix

I love it!! I use my Ninja Creami to make it and the results are perfect. Brings back memories of being in Italy and the best shops in NYC. Fior di Latte itself is my favorite flavor, so I don't want to add too much. But I do sometimes drizzle Nutella, just as the Nutella chain store adds to their fior di latte gelato sundaes. Or I might add almonds into the Ninja as a mix-in.

I tried this product from SRE and was really surprised at the quality of the gelato it produced. I broke it down into smaller batches as my machine only produces 1.7 quarts at a time. I used it to produce everything from sea salt Carmel, to vanilla latte cafe flavorings. I also produced a batch of Dolce Panna that was the hit at a promotion. I had one customer come back for four more servings. I intend to use this exclusively from now on as my base mix. Sure beats having to separate egg yolks and heating milk and cream. By mixing and storing overnight in refrigerator, I was getting a finished product in 15-20 minutes.

We broke the package into 3 batches to fit our machine. We used the basic mix to make strawberry gelato. It was so easy and it turned out great.
