I am about 40% grey, this product has 100% grey coverage without feeling sticking, cake or “thick” on my roots. I’ve used this product for years and have yet to find one even comparable.

I have used the red root cover up for a few years now and it does the job. I am not ready to go grey or white yet. I use Clairol Natural Instincts Medium Auburn demi-permanent hair color. Over the years it has been harder and harder to color those grey and white hairs along my hairline, temples and part. I have very long hair, so only wash it once a week. After drying, I hold a tissue over my face, shake up the can and spray along the part and hairline. I keep it pretty close and use hair clips to hold back some of my hair to get the temples too. It lasts a week for me, then I wash it out. I have not noticed it bleeding on to fabrics unless I wear a tight hat. It may not be the product for you if you wash your hair a lot. If your hair is very bright red the color may not match. It seems to be a dark auburn, not really red. It isn't a perfect match, but it covers up the grey and white hairs very well. When I first tried it out, I bought one can at the drug store. That might be a good idea to see if it is a good match for you. Now that I use it regularly, I like the fact that it is a two pack, so I can stock up and it lasts for many months. It's an extra expense, but I like what I see when I look in the mirror!

This stuff is so much easier to use than powers. Just spray it where it's needed. So simple and the color is great!! Try it!!!

This is a great product. Covers my grays quickly and easily. Be careful to cover clothing when you use it, as it will occasionally leave a little extra splatter here or there. But it has never ruined any clothing or anything. Such a minor thing for the incredible job it does. I really like this product and have been using it for the last couple years.
