Review: Awesome Kit! - Just got this kit and I like it as it has many essentials that would aid one to catch fish just about anywhere in an unsuspected night in nature or as the deep trekker’s backup to get food. I got more than one so I can actually use as an actual tackle box for a simple fishing kit which gives me practice with all of it’s items. Doing this gives greater confidence in the kit itself. I have been a fisherman/outdoors person forever and the kit is very well setup; so there’s no reason anyone with any fishing experience at all can get fish with the kit as long as the fish cooperate. The kit is even setup so that a complete beginner can likely catch something with it.
Review: A great all around survival tin - I bought this because it is a bit larger then the Altoids tin and this has a rubber gasket on the lid as an extra layer of protection from water penetration. Over all this has just about everything you need, I use this as my EDC and carry it in my Mexpediation EDC pocket organizer. I use electric tape around the lid to seal and then use a band of emergency tape to keep it closed and secure. This is not one of the cheap unusable kits that have been around, this is a quality kit and one that I trust. I added a Nano Striker with some char-cloth and gave the flint and steel to my son for his kit. I also added some zip ties, a micro fiber cloth, paper clips, nail clippers, mole skin, and some gorilla tape. I would highly recommend to open this up taking everything out and repacking it a few times to you get an idea how to pack it. USE YOUR STUFF, that is the biggest problem preppers forget to do is use their stuff. Break your gear out and use it every other month so when SHTF you are familiar enough with it to be effective.

This kit is good for most small survival/travel related adventures. You need to take it apart to know exactly what is in the tin and add to it as needed for your own personal use. I did add a small knife to the tin for general use and carry this in my car and street pack. None of these small survival tins are be all/end all but they will help in an emergency.
