Great value

I will start by stating that this is quality product. I wanted to upgrade my cnc to a 500w spindle and thought this would be ideal, however:> I read a previous review stating that the rail holes didn't match that of 3018 clones, measured mine (incorrectly) and assumed it would fit (wrong!). I contacted Sansmart support (very prompt replies!) in hope I could purchase replacement side panels (which are not available in the UK!) however the price including shipping was £56 (New 3018 on Amazon £204) so drilled new holes!> Support told me that the Mount wasn't in their product list... is it really a Genmitse-Sansmart product?> Z-axis motor needs wiring change - six pin plug (left to right) Black, Not Used, Green, Blue, Not Used, Red.> When fitted the bottom of the mount reduces the clearance height so had to raise my z-axis.> Lastly, I assumed being a bigger spindle mount that my 40mm laser would fit... nope, had to make some adjustments with a file.Would I buy again... that would have to be "No".

The design and finish is awesome so glad I got this one

A standard 40mm sq laser module will not fit into the slots in the motor mount, which will need to be filed out to suit.The linear bearings cannot be extracted as location cavities have not been through bored. I guess when they wear out you throw the whole unit away.Not satisfactory, even at the offer price.Wish I had gone down the DIY route using some 2040 profile and bolt on bearing carriers. It would have cost the same and been a lot of work but would have been much more useful and adaptable.

Have only just tried to install today as had to make sleeve for original motor.But the rail pitch is not the same as bushes pitch it is 3.5 mm wider.So its no good
