Black 360 Degrees Rotating Stand Leather Case for Ipad 2 and 3 4 Generation

I don’t know why I have had this iPad 2 for as long as I have, but it’s 10 years old. I bought this case well into having it, but it’s been several years and it still works as intended, with a little expected wear on it. Granted I take good care of my devices, but this case has outlasted several phone cases by comparison.I don’t plan on getting a new case for this, it’s simple and what I needed and good quality. In an age of planned obsolescence, it’s nice to get a quality product that’ll hold you for a few years!

This looked identical to a Targus brand case I've had on my iPad 2 for about three years that wore like a champ. Actually, that was my second Targus case for the same iPad but I had the first one as long. I use my iPad a good two hours a day or more so lasting that long is a testament to the quality of the Targus cases - which are still made and sell for 6-7 times the amount I paid for this $5.99 case delivered - which equates to about a buck or two when you figure actual delivery costs. The quality is lower and I can speak to its longevity but I'm all but certain it won't last as long but for the price it seems like a bargain. Treat it right And I'm guessing I'll get a year out of it but if not I'll update this review. If you're thinking of updating an aging iPad - as I am with this version 2 - and you think it might be a good idea not to spend another $40+ on another case - this seems like a no-brained for the price.

Really needed a protective case for an old Gen3 iPad that receives occasional use. The iPad w/o a case was way too thin and slippery to hold onto. Were worried about dropping the iPad on a hard surface and damaging aluminum case edges or front glass. THIS COVER WORKED GREAT. Didn't really need the swivel stand, which swivels almost too well when folding front cover back over on itself (e.g. to use as a reading tablet) but for this great Prime shipped price - no problem really. Looks to be/seems to be - real leather, and if not, it's a great simulated leather. Does smell like leather however. The laminated plastic clip-on back half - clips solidly to the backside of iPad's case in all four corners, and also along the two long sides. Access to all buttons and 30-pin power port is excellent.

My apologies to the manufacturer, but due to its price, I wasn’t expecting much from this lightweight case. And when it arrived and I opened it and inspected it, I was no less dubious. It is indeed VERY lightweight, and appears fairly flimsy.But it fit my iPad quite nicely, and all the various articulations and angles of the stand seemed handy, so I thought I’d give it awhile before writing a review.Now that I’ve had it awhile, and put it through plenty of use, I have to say this case has pleasantly surprised me. It’s held-up perfectly well, and I enjoy the features. Its stand is very versatile, and I find the built-in elastic strap to be quite a bonus; not only does it keep the case closed when not in use, but it’s placement actually covers the outside camera (at least on mine), which is something that anyone who’s aware of how much our devices are “snooping” on us will appreciate.I hope it proves to be more durable than initially expected. I’m quite happy with it so far.

This was so inexpensive! I use an old iPad 3 for performing and teaching music; I didn't want to spend much money on this clunker. I love that you can stand the iPad up in portrait format for music or reading books, but flip it to landscape for watching videos. It seems durable enough. My only gripe is that the grooves for holding the bottom of the iPad in its tilt position are not deep enough. If you put too much pressure on the iPad, like while you're navigating on-screen, the bottom of the iPad easily slips out and the case collapses.

This case fits my old, 9.5" screen iPad so I'm very glad to be able to still get a case that fits. The newer iPads have bigger screens. However, this case does not fold all the way back so that the iPad is flat with the screen facing front. I need it to do that so that it will rest on my treadmill's shelf so I can watch a video while running on the treadmill. I should have checked for this feature when I ordered the item. I could force it to fold that way, but it will probably break the case so that it will not work as well. So, now, I take the iPad out of this case to rest on the shelf of the treadmill. It's very easy to remove the case, and put it back when I'm done.

When you order something at a price point that is this inexpensive, you really don't expect the final product to live up to the hype. But, to say that I was more than pleased, and just a little surprised is an understatement. I have an older iPad II that had a case that was LONG due for replacement. The stand case I had prior to this purchase was a standard leather folding case, that allowed you to stand the pad up horizontally, and nothing more. It was more than $35 at the time of purchase.This case is sturdy, well made, and just as advertised, allows you to swivel the pad into both horizontal and vertical positions, allowing for easy reading, game playing, or email/browsing. Because it is rigid (and not floppy plastic like many I've seen), it sits well on almost any surface. The price point makes it an amazing value.

I received this case a couple of days ago and was disappointed right away about two things (keep reading though). Something was putting off a really strong smell. I took it out of the package and set it on a table and it has pretty much disappeared now. My other concern was that it wasn't as padded and didn't appear to be the same high quality as the Targus brand I was replacing. (I had used it for several years and it was coming apart.) However, I have decided this one is quite sturdy, it fit my iPad 2 perfectly, and it solved the one problem I had with my old case: when we FaceTime with the grandkids, I have to lean it against something heavy so it will sit straight and not lean. There were three grooves on my old one but none of them worked. This one puts the iPad in perfect position. The price was great, shipping was free with Amazon Prime, and I'm very happy with my purchase!

J’ai achete ce produit pour remplacer l’autre etui que j’avais depuis plusieurs annees. Il fait tres bien, tres pratique et elegant.

Doesn't last long before it starts falling apart. But for the price it's easily replacable. If it last a year I am happy.

The product was fine, but it did not fit my ipad. I contacted the seller and apparently am not able to return it. It does not fit and have no use for it. I would appreciate if i could return the item. Thank you!!
