I bought this item for my 12th Gen Dell 3910 Core i5 PC, which came factory fitted with only 8 GB RAM. It is simple to install (fortunately the configuration of these latest Dell PCs is better than the previous 'mini towers" where one had to remove other components to access the RAM slots) and the BIOS recognised it immediately. So far it has been working well and given a noticeable improvement in performance. I cannot comment on the gaming performance, as I am not much of a gamer, but it handles CPU intensive tasks such as photo/video editing and transcoding very snappily and now also allows me to do other things such as web browsing and office work while the video editing is going on in the background.

Purchased this RAM along with a few other items. Delivery was fast, but the product turned out to be defective. I had to take it to a computer shop to find out it was faulty. When I got back to Amazon I was told that the return window was closed. Now I have to send it for service. Who knows if I will get a new item, or a refurbished one. Nice way to cheat people.

Wie immer bin ich verblüfft, wie einfach die Handhabung der Marke Crucial ist. Wenn man die Hinweise des Herstellers vor dem Kauf befolgt, und wie er es rät, die Webseite besucht um die Daten des Mainboards auszulesen, könnte sogar ein 6 Jähriger den Richtigen Riegel bestellen. Die Hinweise hat er als Fotos eingefügt. Ob es in der Beschreibung auch steht, weiß ich nicht, da ich mich auf die wichtigsten Daten beschränke. 1. Webseite nutzen 2. Den passenden Riegel aussuchen ( Beachten: Mhz und Kapazität ) 3. Hier eintippen und kaufen * Unbedingt die Webseite nutzen um Retouren zu vermeiden. Das entlastet nicht nur den Verkäufer sondern ebenfalls die Umwelt, wenn man bedenkt, dass dieses kleine Ding mit einem schweren Diesel quer durch Deutschland reist, nur weil jemand zu faul war genauer zu Überprüfen welchen Speicher man wirklich benötigt. Für mich ist es immer ein Plug n Play Speicher. Egal welchen ich gekauft hatte. Bis jetzt waren die folgenden Schritte notwendig. 1. PC Gehäuse öffnen 2. Speicher einfügen ( Immer sanft und mit Vorsicht ) 3. Pc starten 4. Speicher automatisch erkannt und keine BIOS Switchen nötig. Bedenken Sie eins. Wenn der Pc beim Einbau nicht startet sondern Piept dann liegt es zu 99% an der Person, die den Speicher eingebaut hat. Also nochmals Gehäuse öffnen und herausholen und nochmal vorsichtig in die Rank einstecken. Dies kann man 3 mal machen bis es funktioniert aber beim Piepen des Rechners prüft man zuerst ob der Speicher auch wirklich 100% fest sitzt. Wenn er immer noch piept müssen Sie Ihrem Mainboard per BIOS halt sagen, dass er den Riegel akzeptieren soll. Kleiner Tipp: Der PC piept einmal kurz und nicht lang wenn der Ram nicht richtig sitzt. Jede Piep Reihenfolge hat eine Bedeutung. Wenn Sie diese googeln, kommt die richtige Fehlerdiagnose . Ob Ihr MAinboard defekt ist oder die Bios Batterie fast leer ist oder ob der Prozessor einen Defekt aufweist. Ignorieren Sie kein Piepen, denn es könnte Ihr letztes Piepen sein. Also des PC 's Piepen meine ich. Nun ja lange Rede kurzer Sinn. Alles in einem hat der Prozess um den Speicher zu erweitern ( Mein Rechner ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit nur 16GB daher mussten noch mal 16 GB ran ) Mein Hauptspeicher ist ein Samsung 3200 MHZ DDR4 und wie man sieht mit Crucial Kompatibel. Spiele sowie Programme die an der Grenze mit 16 GB waren, laufen flüssiger wie nie zuvor. Danke hierfür.
