Amazing tool
This module really is worth the money. After buying a bike that had crazy engine braking, and realizing that I would be giving no warning to others behind me, I set out to find a solution to my problem. The install on my Ninja 300 was pretty seamless. Just find the wires under the passenger seat, three snips and four splices later, you're ready to calibrate. To calibrate the device you have to angle the module either forward or backward towards the front or rear of the bike. Braking causes the ball bearing or mercury inside the module to be pushed forward to active the brake lights. Angling the device more forward makes it easier for whatever is in the module to push forward and activate the brake lights. Oh, and this device has a built in brake-light blinking function! For the price, this is the ultimate safety device for your bike!

They make the advertisement look easy to install but, it’s not.The wire layout did not match the advertisement.

Great safety tool, could use improvements
I'm big on safety and I love the idea of these things. I like teh flash then steady brake light and would have gotten it just for that. The part I've had a bit of issue with is the feature where it flashes the brakes when decelerating. Ther is no sensitivity adjust - you basically adjust the inclination and/or orientation of the unit to "adjust". My V-Strom frame is sloped so I had to make a front spacer to raise it up to make it level enough to where it would operate correctly. Setting the front "uphill" decreases sensitivity and sloped "downhill" increases sensitivity. I've been told that going downhill sometimes it flashes the brake light as if I'm decelerating and braking. Supposedly offsetting teh unit left or right of true center will also reduce sensitivity.

Not t for a 2016 FJR Yamaha
Does not work on a 2016 FJR. 2016 was first year of all LED lighting. Nice concept nice package. Great support. Sorry it didn’t work for me.

I like the built in 4 flashes and then constant on ...
It was simple to install and is very small. It took up very little space. And adjusting the sensitivity is simple as well. I just applied the velcro to the top of the rear wheel and repositioned it as needed. I like the built in 4 flashes and then constant on pattern. However, because I already had the "custom LED Universal Magic Strobes Brake Light Flasher" installed, It would like to have the option of having no flash pattern. However, since I added on a separate pair of red LED strips as additional brake lights, I just kept the LED strips attached to the gear brake modulator and the combination of the two different flash patterns turned out work extremely well. I love this thing. I no longer have to worry about having to touch my brakes to make sure the car behind me knows that I've slowed down when I engine brake or downshift.

Very easy to install and adjust.. needed this on a can am spyder that slows down fast when letting off throttle.

Safety should always come first
Great item to put on the bike to let other drivers know you’re stopping, I have noticed an increase in response to my breaking after installation.4 Stars due to the difficulty level of installation unless you have it done by a professional.However this is an awesome product that works perfectly and recommended for any writer has yet to install one.
