I hammered a very slender nail through the restrictor which made a small hole. Then I removed the nail. Then I took a wood screw around two inches long and, using the small nail hole to give the screw a start, screwed it into the restrictor until it was completely through. Then I used a pair of pliers and, with a small amount of effort, pulled the screw and restrictor out. **Q: The s-2251 & the s-2252 appear to be identical. so why pay $163.49 for the s-2251 when this one (s-2252) is roughly half the price?** A: The two aren't identical, the 2251 had 8 nozzles while the 2252 has 6. You pay more for the 8 but from reviews I've read suggest 6 nozzles deliver a heavier, stronger overall flow. I have the 2252 and it's a delight!!! I'm guessing neither will disappoint you. **Q: I like a lot of pressure my husband not so much. Is this easily adjustible to suit both our needs?** A: Absolutely. This is the best shower head I have been able to find that offers easily adjustable pressure. I took out the flow restrictor inside of the shower head before I installed which allowed for super strong pressure when needed and light pressure at the twist of the lever on the side. Honestly - this is the best shower head I have ever owned. Looks beautiful. Performs even better. Well worth the money and more.The low down; I have been to plenty of hotels and resorts and lived in multiple states and even a different country and NEVER have I felt pressure from a shower like this!My wife and i love strong water pressure but it is impossible to find nowadays. I bought this hoping it would at least improve our low pressure situation enough to warrant $70 (instead of the normal $40 for a shower head from Walmart to help).Took the rubber ring out and carved out the plastic behind it with a small flat head screwdriver (you don't have to take it all out because the outside ring of plastic is still a larger diameter than the metal hole the water flows through to the shower head) before I even put it on.I wasn't expecting too much. Just hoping for a good pressure to rinse off and a decent spread so I'm not dancing around in the shower to keep wet.The old shower head (a cheap 'pressure increasing' one) was set at a certain height to keep the water in the right spot. Set this one to the same, turned on the faucet, slung the shower toggle up to test it out, and got half of the bathroom wet. It was SO powerful that the wind whipped up around me and my wife said she felt the air difference from across the bathroom the instant I turned it on. It hit the back of the shower so hard at the top that it splashed everywhere until I quickly pointed it down.It has a great spread of water (hits from my head to my butt from just a foot or two away) and is powerful enough to scratch your back and exfoliate dead skin.
