Love it
Came in leafs dried and falling off but healthy as a whistle. Still probably need to take care. Didn't do full research on them so I found they need dormancy, I threw it outside whnn temps started to drop. Hopefully the wild texas winter will allow dormancy.

Received in terrible condition and has since died
For some reason the shipping date and the estimated arrival time was two weeks. Common sense dictates that a small tree with with little or no water isn't going to arrive in good shape or even alive when it is in transit that long. This tree was just about dead when it finally arrived. All of the bottom leaves that had not yet fallen off were dried out, curled up and just about dead. They all have now falled off dead. The top leaves were very stressed. I planted it immediately watering it everyday to no avail. Apparently the dehydrated root system and main tree stalk had been damaged to the point the roots could not absorb much water and the tree stalk could not pass enough water up the stalk to keep the top leaves alive. The photo is right after I received and planted it. The tree has lost all but four nearly dead leaves at the top and is about dead.

Hoping it grows
The media could not be loaded. I was expecting a 2year tree but this was not it! It’s is a branch, I was disappointed that it is not ready to plant. For $27 I expected a little more. Some of the leaves were dying or bug eaten.

I was super skeptical at first
Super skeptical at first but given the price point i decided to say yolo and give this a chance. And boy am i glad i did, my little tree has been growing so well out on my balcony. It arrived in a small box, and i was kinda surprised (but thankful) it didn’t snap during the shipping. Roots looked good, and so i proceeded to transplant it over to a 1 gallon soil bag and so far so good! Definitely my favorite plant/tree in my small but growing collection :)

Too Good to Be True
I knew that it had to be either a scam or close to it but the price was too good not to at least try. Well save yourself the headache and wasted time and shop somewhere else. The trees were dry and crusty and the soil had spilled all over the packaging. Okay, well maybe I just received a dud so I reached out to the seller to try and get some feedback or advise or something. Just crickets. Not just once but three times over the past week or so and they will not reply. Dang, I was really excited about these…I have been wanting one for a long time but didn’t want to pay the price. Welp, now I have two dead ones. Bummer.

Healthy!
Japanese Maple Bloodgood - arrived well packaged, good size and healthy with several limbs in full leaf. One caution I would suggest is packing in a larger package, as the tallest limb was somewhat curved to fit the package.
