It says "all metal" but several reviwers have mentioned plastic parts. Is it really "all metal" or not? If not, what parts are plastic?

Same exact thing happened to me. The plastic piece fell out with a razor. I didn’t realize it came off until the trash had been emptied. I was gonna buy another one, but after reading all these similar reviews regarding the plastic piece breaking or coming off, I’m gonna just chalk it up to a loss and look for an alternative razor.

No, you have to purchase a stand separately such as the "Deluxe Chrome 2 Prong Safety Razor and Shave Brush Shaving Stand from Parker Safety Razor."

Does the head pivot? If not, any custom Mach 3 handles that do?

This is a handle that accepts Mach 3 refill blades. There is no pivot on the handle just as there is no pivot on the Mach 3 handle. The disposable part of the Mach 3 blade contains the pivot. So as long as you buy Mach 3 blades to use on this handle you will have a pivot.

What is the length with blade attached?
