Pros: Affordable, durable, rubber washerMy Sears Craftsman Heavy Duty hose has a lifetime warranty. I own several hoses and they have not failed after years of usage in the sun. Just recently I noticed a water leak at the hose connection that got bigger and bigger that I could no longer ignoreUnfortunately Craftsman hose lifetime warranty applies to the hose and not the washer. Attached in the photo is the Craftsman washer that has shrunk and ripped. I bought this and installed it at the female hose connection and it the leak is gone!!!Yippeeee

I had two hose systems that were leaking in multiple spots, one at my house and one at my garden. Some spots were leaking probably because the hoses and connections were just plain old, but also because of the new, cheaper hose reels I bought to put the hoses on were just not made very well (you get what you pay for). Some of the leaks I could deal with, but the worst part was where the last hose attached to the sprayer nozzle, when I sprayed anything above arm height, like my window planter boxes, a cold stream of water would run down my arm and everywhere beyond my arm! So I disconnected everything -- the spigot to the short hose, the short hose to the reel, the reel to the first long hose, then that to the second long hose, and then the hose to the sprayer nozzle -- and added one of these to each connection, made sure they were all snug (I had planned to put two of these in a connection if it was still leaking after placing the first one), and voila, no more leaks! Much cheaper and easier than buying new hoses and more expensive hose reels!

They work great, stops leaking hose connection. A little pricey.

Fits perfectly on my hose . To replace the hose would have cost $70 . These are very durable , easy to install , thick and very durable . This product not easy to find , very happy they were available on Amazon !!

These were exactly what I needed. I bought a new garden hose only to find out after I hooked it up that it was missing a gasket. This caused water to spray everywhere right at the spigot making turning the water on and off a pain. The gaskets I received feel like they are made of a good quality material. They feel like they are going to last for a long time but even if they dont, I have 9 more lol! After installing the gasket, the water spray stopped immediately. I am very happy with the product.

I'll keep this short and sweet. It sounds like my experiences are pretty much on par. I bought these things on Amazon because I didn't foresee myself going to a hardware store any time soon, and my garden hoses were starting to leak on both ends (mostly because I leave them outside a lot, so these seals dry out).All you have to do is pop out the old rubber ring in the ends of your hose and put one of these in there and your leaks will be history.Good sealers, good price. After seeing how many washers fall out of hose line, I like how these are made very flexible and stay in place instead of falling out so easily like some washers do.
