You click the button on the front of the octopus and the tentacles start turning and producing bubbles until it’s turned off (another button click). It’s nice to ‘set it and forget it!’ And not have to manually blow bubbles or move a wand around and hope for bubbles to come out.Cons: just two minor downsides - you need 4 AA batteries (not included) to run the machine. I expected batteries to be needed but would have appreciated if they were included in the box. No big deal, but good to know. The second part is that, because the bubble liquid is poured into the machine and it doesn’t have any sort of lid it’s just an opening, then it risks spilling if you move or life the bubble machine (note: bubble liquid IS included). Not an issue unless your small child likes to pick up and move the octopus around, like mine ;)All in all I recommend this little bubble maker if you want to be able to turn it on and not do anything else to have an ongoing stream of bubbles! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Summer Favorite *by A***A on July 13, 2023* Our kids love this!
