Artificial peppermint flavoring?
The ingredients list has artificial as well as natural flavor. So, maybe that’s why it tastes more bitter than like peppermint. Other than that the candy is alright although I would prefer that it didn’t contain lecithin. The other ingredients listed are good.

Delicious!
Fresh, soft taffy is perfectly balanced and very natural tasting, a hint of saltwater comes through the light, delicate peppermint. Highly recommend, it even has a creaminess, utterly delicious!

The peppermint flavor of the taffy was mild and very good. Unfortunately, the taffy was hard. Prefer taffy softer.
