I was looking for a BOWL for my ice cream would not melt so quickly. And my cereal would stay cold with milk. I really like this bowl it doesn't take up much room in the freezer. I do think it's rather pricey though. I wasn't able to get more than one at that price.

I'm not a milk drinker but love cereal. My milk needs to be VERY cold down to the last drop. 25 years ago, I bought gel lined bowls from Pampered Chef that I kept in the freezer and used as my cereal bowls. I wore them out and have been trying for a few years to find replacements. Well, this is it! I had my first decent bowl of cereal in 3 years. The milk was so cold that when I got to the bottom of the bowl, there were ice crystals at the bottom. I hand wash them and place them directly back in the freezer. In fact, the bowl was still frozen after I used and washed it. I would not hesitate to but them again.

I love this bowl! So glad I found it. I have wine glasses that do the same and I thought maybe there’s something out there that is good for ice cream. Worked like a charm, my ice cream did not melt at all. It was in the bowl at least 15mins. Couldn’t believe how well it worked, highly recommended. Also make sure you follow the instructions, in terms of leaving the bowl upside down in the freezer for best to use. I saw people complaining about how it only freezes where the gel is, that is why you need to freeze the bowl upside down so the gel fully covers the bowl for optimal use. #readingisfundamental

This is pretty "cool". I'm one of those weirdos that likes their milk ice cold with cereal. I put this in the freezer, and come back to it, and it actually keeps the milk, or Ice cream nice and cold. I usually put Ice in my milk, and this bowl actually helps the ice stay well..ice a lot longer than a normal bowl. My only complaint is that the bowl is too small. There were no larger options.

All my life, I've wanted cold foods or beverages to be "cold" and the opposite for hot ones. I love ice cream hard. I hate when it starts to melt and looks unapetizing. This bowl does the trick. I will use it for ice cream, bowls of fruit or jello. For cereral. The list is a mile long. Wash it by hand, stick upside down in the freezer, wait 4 hours, than voila...great tasting AND great looking ice cream. BTW, I accidentally knocked this to the floor when the gel was frozen, and zero cracks or damage. I also bought the mug for pop, milk and juice. Great products from a small company that I'm very thankful for. I hope they come up with a mug that will keep coffee hot and is microwavable safe, too. )) I love things really cold or really hot.

Keeps things cold for quite some time. I used it to keep slushies cold while I was recovering from an illness and couldn’t drink well. We made slushies out of my flavored bottled water and I was able to stay hydrated that way. This bowl helped a lot.

This bowl is really cute and works well. I make sure to freeze it facing upside down like other reviewers said to do and I also hand wash it. So far it works great and keeps my ice cream from melting as I eat it. Sometimes though it can make a large "popping sound" as the frozen gel melts inside and releases from the flat base of the bowl. Its hard to describe but can be startling when you are watching TV and suddenly it goes "Thwop!!!" and scares you. Maybe this only happens to me though, as nobody else has mentioned it. Update 5/8/2026: I'm still using this ice cream bowl!! I even found a brand new one at Goodwill and had to grab it too! It stopped making the "thwop" sound that I mentioned previously, so thats kind of nice. But yeah I never use regular bowls for my ice cream anymore. This one still reigns supreme!

I have been looking for one of these for years! I hate it when the left over milk gets warm after you finish the cereal. This bowl keeps the sugary milk ice cold for you to enjoy after the cereal is eaten. Oh so delicious! And I suppose you could use it for ice cream and deserts as well....

Schon nach der erste Benutzung ist die Schale bei warmen Wasser gesprungen. Dafür leider einfach zu teuer

I love this bowl it does keep my ice cream solid I am a slow eater I hate melted ice cream but it stays solid in the bowl I'm so happy with it wish I had bought one earlier I didn't know you coukd keep ice cream from melting

Froze well and did stay cold - although, I don't know for how long/if it would, keep the contents cold as I didn't end up using it, but simply due to it being very very small (even more so than I thought!).
