I purchased this item for my wife for Xmas as she needed something to remove the water from the saucer below the plant pot after rainfall so that she didn't have to lift the heavy plant pots each time to tip the saucers out. When the item arrived I noticed that it was jammed in the lower position. It freed but because the suction was so good it was too tight for my wife to use properly and it jammed in the lower position after been left. I took on board other people's reviews where they had greased the seals, cleaned it or sent it back for another. Cleaning or greasing does not work and a replacement will not either. I put my 30 years in the motor trade to good use and investigated why the jamming occurs. I found that either the neck of tube narrows at the bottom fractionally or the writing on the tube catches the lower seal. The seals do not swell. To cure this issue remove the bottom seal only so that the pump only works with the upper seal. Test on a sink full of water. You will find the pump operation is more free, the suction is the same with one seal and jamming no longer occurs. I hope this helps someone.

This makes oil changes on my scooter so much easier. It allows you to draw most of the used oil out and replace it straight from the bottle. If you put too much in, you can draw a bit back out for a precise measurement. Great product.

I had to extract roughly 2L of engine oil. It was difficult to pump and I would not recommend it for everyone however I am a woman and I managed. The disadvantaged comes from the little hose, as I couldn’t attach it to the syringe, so I had to attach the bigger one and then the small which fit into the car. So it required even more strength but it was okay. It was easier to pump out without the hose so every time I was detaching it from the syringe which was time consuming. But for the money it did a great job!

As useful as a chocolate teapot. Brand new out of the box and it doesn’t seal properly so it’s useless. Its sole purpose is to create a vacuum but it fails to do that; whatever you suck up just drains right back out again in seconds. I tried to use it to extract oil petrol out of my motorcycle fuel tank and ended up just making a mess everywhere. I tried replacing the o-rings with the spares included but to no avail. Absolute waste of money, don’t waste your time.

At first glance these looked good. The piston has double O-ring sealing, the syringe body has ml markings, there are two spare seals, a semi-rigid long nozzle plus an extension. The nozzle locks into the syringe by a clever claw-like mechanism. A test pump of just air showed the piston to be a little stiff, but it pumped out air with good pressure. Unfortunately, when trying to use this under a car (to fill a gearbox, and a rear differential case), it was extremely difficult to pump fluid in a confined space, while keeping the semi rigid nozzle in the fill hole. The piston was extremely hard to push, then the extension nozzle started leaking and popped off due to the pressure and not having a locking collar (just a stiff rubber connector that loses all grip once oil seeps into it). Oil everywhere. I found oil to have got past the first piston seal rather easily too. I believe more accurate manufacturing would give smoother and more precise pump action. This was annoying because I have seen people on YouTube using similar oil pumps with seemingly very little exertion. Luckily I had some spare 8mm clear tubing that fitted the syringes perfectly. I ended up taking the pistons out and using the syringe bodies as gravity feed reservoirs. Much less effort and less mess.

Does what it’s supposed to do.

Obrukbar. Fastnar i bottenläget så att man måste ta i ordentligt för att få loss den vilket inte är så praktiskt när man slabbar med olja. Slutade med att jag använde en vanlig spruta från apoteket som fungerade mycket bättre. Den här produkten ligger nu i återvinningen.

Einsatzbereich: Ich habe die Pumpe primär zum Befüllen meines Differentials genutzt. Da man dort mit normalen Flaschen oft nicht herankommt, war diese Spritze die Rettung. Das Befüllen hat damit super funktioniert. Handhabung: Mit 500 ccm hat sie eine angenehme Größe, sodass man nicht ständig neu ansetzen muss. Auch zum Absaugen von überschüssigem Öl oder Bremsflüssigkeit ist sie sicher bestens geeignet. Qualität: Ein wichtiger Punkt für mich: Sie ist absolut dicht. Es gibt nichts Nervigeres als Öl, das hinten am Kolben vorbeiläuft, aber hier blieb alles sauber. Der mitgelieferte Schlauch sitzt fest und ermöglicht präzises Arbeiten. Fazit: Für den Hobbyschrauber eine absolut empfehlenswerte Investition. Sie erleichtert Arbeiten an Getrieben oder Differentialen enorm und spart eine Menge Sauerei. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
