Gone are the days when you can just go shop in the store and run around to the field or go outside that day. They were starting at $99 and they didn't even have his size for that much. Don’t need anything fancy just a basic glove that fits.** A: It’s really not a matter of the size of your hand as it is what the glove is for. (The exception being the 10” glove, which is for kids.) An infielder is going to use a smaller 11-11.5” glove because it’s easier to get it from the mitt and into their hand to make a quicker throw. But if you’re playing catch with your kid, that isn’t a factor. Most gloves are 12” and it’ll work fine for pretty much anything unless your hand is either really small or really big. **Q: How Do You Soften This?** A: The old way was to put 3 balls in the pocket, use a rope to secure it and dunk it in a bucket of water overnight. Let it dry for a few days then use shave cream with Lanolin in it and slather it on liberally.
