Can I use this on Rokinon 85mm lens

Probably. It all just depends on the filter thread mm size. This kit has 4 adapter rings for the most popular filter thread sizes. I will tell you that 85mm is difficult to use with this setup because you won't be able to fill the frame with your subject. You get more focusing distance, but the depth of field remains ultra small (4mm) which makes it harder to focus. You could add in an extension tube to resolve this, but in my experience testing things out anything over 50mm it's better to use some level of telephoto. I use the 18-135mm sometimes which works pretty good from 35mm up to around 70mm,but once you get over that you need to add extension tubes to match the mm of the lens. So if you use the 85mm you want an equivalent 85mm worth of extension between the lens and the sensor. I am putting together a video for you tube I'll update this and my review with a link once it's up. If Amazon let's me. Either way for the price this is one piece of equipment to always have in you camera bag.

what lens hood goes on wide angle lens

Depends upon what mm your lens is. Look at that & you have the answer.

Is the a tulip hood as pictured above or a solid cone hood as described and shown in the comments?

It is a tulip and i have a tulip one used for sale. I am selling it because I decided to go with a different lens that was smaller than the 24-105

Can i use this hood for canon 24-70 2.8 ii?

Hi JLai, I would like to think that this hood will fit the 24-70mm 2.8, however, since I don't have that lens, it's good to ask the company before purchase. Thanks.

fits as advertised

missing the felt liner of the OEM version, but the plastic is matte textured on the inside so should function similarly. was a little stiff going on but fits fine.
