I decided to stack them on a cheap moving dolly that happens to be covered in carpet. Just one problem: Plastic does not stay put on carpet or on other plastic. They would slide around instead of rolling with the dolly. So I decided to try these sticky pads out. First impression I was convinced that they were not going to work. They were not at all what I expected. I thought they would be more like a rubber pad with adhesive on the back. Instead, these are more of a foam, like that double sided adhesive with foam in the middle that you use to stick posters on walls, except here only one side has adhesive. They did not feel grippy to the touch at all. But, they were cheap, so what the heck? I might as well try them out. Boy was I wrong. Despite my bins having raised edges for feet (the pads are only stuck on those edges and are not flush with the bottom), these guys really do their job. I have not had either bin slide off since I stuck them on, so they work great on both carpet and slick surfaces even with less weight and surface area keeping them there than they are designed for. Whole setup cost me less than $20 (dolly is from Harbor Freight) and rolls around nicely now. My back thanks you :)
