Our award winning Bosom baby nursing pillow will make nurturing every bit of the special bonding moment it is intended to be. A successful latch is so important to successful breastfeeding outcomes, this pillow was designed with the help of a speech-language pathologist who has specialized in training in babies and feeding issues. Bosom Baby creates the perfect position for mothers to raise baby up to breast level, making the latch-on process easier. The unique V-shape also makes a comfortable maternity sleeping pillow. For you and your baby's safety, our pillow cover design does not utilize zippers or velcro. Instead we rely on a fold-over design that helps keep the inner cushion secure and in place.

I Would Pick This Pillow After Trying Three
It seems there are as many favorite breastfeeding pillows as there are breastfeeding moms. I have a Boppy, a Brest Friend, and this Luna Lullaby. Of the 3, this is my favorite... but I suspect this has largely to do with: my body size, my breast size, the baby's body size, the baby's preferred eating positions, and the chairs in my house.I am about 5'5" with a long waist and large breasts (32G). To me this pillow is the best for holding the baby's head in place without my having to slouch over (my major problem with Brest Friend -- which is otherwise a good feeding pillow) or strain my wrist. Some reviewers seem to report that the baby falls into the crack between their body and the pillow -- especially while the baby is small -- but my baby is only 3 weeks old (8.5lbs and 22in long) and fits nicely on the pillow.... We have not had any problems with her falling between the pillow and myself.Baby prefers to eat in cradle hold or football hold, and the Luna supports her body and head in both of these positions so that I can focus on my breast and sometimes even have a hand free to blow my nose or stroke her hair -- big deal for me (I have bad allergies; probably because I was not breastfed ;-) )! Luna also works great with an armed chair that can help keep the pillow in place. I have it on an armed rocking chair. With regards to the other two pillows:Boppy was far too small and squishy -- requiring too much work on my part to hold baby in place -- so I don't use it for breastfeeding anymore.Brest Friend needs a little assistance (I have to cross a leg under it to get it close enough to my breast) but I appreciate that it isn't too squishy and that it latches around the waist (which makes it easy to put on and THEN pick up baby for feeding). A bonus with Brest Friend is that my husband loves to use it for bottle feeding as well.Of the 3, I would pick the Luna, but I recommend buying all 3 and seeing what works for you. Then returning, gifting, or repurposing the others (Boppy becomes a great baby lounger!)

Okay I'm some positions.
My girlfriend tried using this at home, but couldn't find a seat in our house where it was comfortable. The recliner is big and the arms are in the way, so she uses a bed pillow that is smaller and can be folded or molded around stuff. This is not flexible enough for that space. Maybe on a couch where there is a low arm? That being said, we ended up keeping it and putting it in the car. She has used it multiple times in the back seat when our son gets fussy and needs to eat, but we're more than a couple minutes from home or if we're out somewhere and she wants some privacy, she'll go to the car and feed him there. Seems to be a pretty good fit in that application, and might be in some others, but the car is where it works best for her. This came highly recommended by a lactation specialist at the hospital, so we bought it. Kind of wish we had just found something else, especially for the money.

Better than Boppy
Luna VS. BoppyI bought this for my second child after owning the boppy for my first. I had a C-section and knew I would have another so I bought this thinking this might work better for me than the boppy. I am so glad I did. The luna is longer so you can rest your elbows, arms, hands, etc. on it while breatfeeding. It is more comfortable because of the V shape instead of the boppy's C shaped design. It fits looser around you so it does not provide as much pressure on the incision. The biggest difference for me was that the luna is taller than the boppy so it makes it easier to get a smaller baby in a good position for latch on. The cover is very soft and easy to remove and wash. Comes out looking just as good as it went in. Definitely not a small pillow- I use it not only for breastfeeding but just for laying on, resting, back support while sitting. The only advantage the boppy has over it is for use as a tummy time pillow or for baby support. This one is just too tall and not the right shape to keep a baby supported. This might be more expensive than the boppy but definitely worth it if you plan to breastfeed.

Best breastfeeding pillow
I had a lot of issues with breastfeeding. Nipple shields, tube supplementation, baby with a weak suck, but I stuck with i (mostly because he wouldn't take a bottle). I wish I had had this pillow from the start. I began with the Boppy, and when baby was tiny, he always ended up between the pillow and my tummy. The Boppy tends to slip away from your body because the loops don't go very far around. Then I got a My Brest Friend. Yuck. Too hard and it supposed to stay wrapped around you but unless you stay perfectly still the two ends end up on top of each other in the back despite being buckled. This pillow is great! Soft, long arms that I can hold in place with my back or elbows. It is great as baby gets longer as well. The cover washes easily and hasn't faded. I also like that it comes in non-baby colors, because I use it mostly in the living room, where we already have a monkey swing, jungle blanket, toys, etc.

Least favorite breastfeeding pillow
Had difficulty positioning baby and therefore bought so, so many pillows. I liked the boppy the best, by far.Bought this pillow because of positive reviews but it did not work for us. The pillow is too low and the shape is not comfortable for breastfeeding. I was hunched over the whole time, which killed my back. It also makes baby and you too warm - I didn’t realize how warm baby would be when lying near me. This pillow made us both sweaty and uncomfortable.

Great pregnancy pillow
I haven't used this as a nursing pillow yet, but it's working great as a pregnancy pillow. It took a few nights to get used to it, but I love how versatile it is. It can fit between my knees to support my hips, around my back to keep me from rolling onto my back, and is a good prop behind my head for reading. I love that it's not as big and bulky as the other pregnancy pillows. I plan to bring this to the hospital with me, and hopefully use it as a nursing pillow as well. If it works, that's double the value. And if it doesn't work, I'm still happy with the purchase.

Good for plus size moms!!
The bag that the pillow came in was terribly dirty. Like something has been sprayed on it. Took pictures but they accidentally got deleted. Other then that i love the pillow it self. Hence the 5 star review. I am a size 16 with very large breasts And this pillow fits nicely and my daughter seems to really like it!!

Nice to touch but to big
It is a good firm pillow and nice and fluffy to the touch, but it is HUGE. I guess it will work if mother is really tall, otherwise the baby is going to be too high. I am 1.65 cm and when I put it on my lap my baby is almost at my eye level. Definitely not the best choice for a shorter mom.

Love this pillow!
This nursing pillow is amazing! I had a 10lb baby and (obviously) a csection, and I used this pillow just to help me hold him in the newborn days, because his size hurt my incision. I use it for every feed when we are home, and miss it when I'm feeding him when we are out. It is nice and firm, and puts him at nearly the perfect height. Highly recommend!

Excellent nursing pillow
Honestly the best nursing pillow for me. Im a bit curvier (size 16 Canadian) and the boppy, jolly jumper, toys r us, and breast friend brands of nursing pillows are just are not comfortable for me. This one is.
