This barrier ointment works really well. I applied it once to an area with skin chafing, and the irritation was gone. It provides excellent protection, helps the skin heal quickly, and a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend it.

I've become quite fond of this cream. It works well and does what it was created and assigned to do with a great price for the amount per package. Covers well and is easy to clean off and reapply.

This product is wonderful. My horses developed Mud Fever from the rain and wet this past spring. I spent hundreds of dollars on ineffective horse products that did not do what this product did. What worked for my horses was cleaning the area with Chlorhexidine, drying the area, and then liberally covering the area twice daily. My research on mud fever led me to Desitin which only had 13% zinc oxide and was much more expensive. When I read one of the reviews on Amazon from a nurse, I tried it with great success. Thank you for this wonderful, inexpensive product.

And it's not advertised as such, so I dock it no stars. My wife and I slathered our faces with it and I'm sure it would block the sun, but it's not sweat proof. It pretty much comes right off with water. This is probably makes it better for other uses though, like diaper cream or healing balm. Otherwise, I really like the consistency. It feels more powdery than greasy which is a huge plus. This was just a public service announcement not to buy it as sunscreen 👍

After having a stroke and developing a sore on her butt. I needed something to put on it to keep urine or feces from infecting the sore. Unfortunately, my mom is unable to go to the bathroom and has to wear briefs. At first, I was using this with some coverings but after healing/scarring, I only use the product. It has done well keeping any mess from causing any issues and helped with the healing.
