The notebooks have very good ink resistance and ink properties are visible. The paper quality is not as good as the Midori MD, which I use, but that is absolutely fair considering the price difference; Midori is about 3 times as expensive. The paper quality of Rhodia is about the same as that of Leuchtturm and Moleskine. Rhodia gives good expression to ink and pen. Sheen is clearly visible, shading is good too. The paper is smooth. It does absorb oil from the skin; it gets a little finicky at the bottom of the page. I use an artist glove as remedy to that. The paper is white, not ivory, and so it does not distort the ink colour. It is understandable expensive from the regular ball-pointers POV. But it is a very good middle-of-the-road FP notebook, value-for-money and quality in balance. I use this for most of my office work. Review: Search for the best paper ended.
